Time to celebrate! Chris Martin arrives in London as Coldplay's Ghost Stories tops the charts and becomes the fastest-selling album of the year

It is safe to say that it has been a good couple of days for Chris Martin.

The Coldplay frontman was spotted making his way through London's Heathrow airport on Sunday evening after a great weekend for his band.

After gaining rave reviews for their performance during on Radio 1's Big Weekend, the band's album also shot straight to the number one spot in the album charts.

Chris looked bright-eyed and bushy tailed as he made his way through the airport in his usual laid-back ensemble.

 

 

 

Fresh from his split from Gwyneth Paltrow, Martin was clearly delighted to be at the live concert.

The Kings Of Leon were already on stage when they invited him on to join them, which he did to rapturous applause.

Frontman Caleb Followill and Martin both rocked-out in the set, which saw them wearing matching clothes.

Chris and Alexa 'plan vacation'

 

The Coldplay rocker and British star have been linked since he split from his wife of ten years Gwyneth Paltrow earlier this year. Last week his representative slammed reports he and Alexa were dating after pictures of them seemingly on a date in New York City were published.

 

Despite this, it's been claimed the pair want to get to know each other better so might go away in the next few months. British magazine Heat claims their break will be to Mexico's Baja California peninsula - where Chris and Gwyneth honeymooned.

 

"Alexa and Chris speak all the time. They're taking things slowly, but are planning a getaway this summer to figure out where they want things to go," an insider said. "The al Paraiso [hotel, where Chris and Gwyneth stayed] is super-private, and would be perfect for spending some time alone."

 

Alexa and Chris are known to have been friends for some time and were seen hanging out together at last year's Glastonbury music festival in the UK. Apparently, the former model is unhappy with the speculation surrounding their bond and is adamant nothing untoward happened while Chris and Gwyneth were still together.

 

"Alexa was really upset when there were rumours about her and Chris straight after he split from Gwyneth," the source said. "She insists they've only been friends until now. But, over the past few weeks, things have developed. Alexa's fascinated by Chris and they'll often speak late into the night."

I hope that I won't read them on this thread. These tabloid/ paparazzi things really put me off. It makes me highly uncomfortable.

btw, I read on instagram that the lady who took photos with the pair on Glastonbury was denying anything suspicious between them & saying the media is making a story out of nothing.

 

Thalia, you were asking why this thread has low activity. Well, let's just say that I think at some point, it became a resort for a closed circle of friends that mainly reply & praise each other. This plus the abundance of paparazzi photos made me at least stay away from the thread.

The wedding was sunday , not saturday, the day when coldplay was performing . And a fly to morocco take 3 hours max , but again WHO KNOWS .

Yes you are right it is a quick flight but the PR for the hotel tweeted about Alexa on May 24. She tweeted about welcoming all the guests on May 24

 

Anyway in my opinion it doesn't look like Alexa but a lot like Guy's fiancee as some others have noted. Although it doesn't really matter!!
