From what Nathan and Caleb said, LP5 should be a crossover between the firsts 2 albums and OBTN :shrug:

from the songs that i've heard, it sounds like they'll be more relaxed this time around than on OBTN. that's why we liked them so much to begin with, they just didn't care. on their last album, they cared a bit too much. (if that makes any sense)

I'd find this video a lot more entertaining if they'd seem to have a bit of fun on stage as well and not only between gigs.

Yesterday I was listening to Radio 1 and they had a little report from some festivals and some people said that although their music's good, they could at least say hi or do just any form of interaction with the crowd, but there is none.

I love their music and I'm really looking forward to the new album but I am not eager to see them live again.

I totally agree with you...that's a real pity. It doesn't cost anything to just SMILE! They're starting to alienate people with that, even among fans and I think it's time they start rethinking their attitude.... I don't think I'll be disappointed if I ever go to gig since I know what to expect and I'll be just glad to sink into the music...but I understand why 'average' crowd can be disapointed. :confused:

 

Caleb is shy but it's not uncurable...! Maybe he should take lessons with Gary Lightbody :lol: After all, the man is the perfect example of a mute frontman who couldn't even look at the crowd that transformed into a total funny chatterbox :laugh3:
