Could someone upload a good quality live version of "Try Again" onto anything OTHER than rapidshare as it hates me! Pretty please??

We are lucky too..so the albums are released on fridays in Germany :D

well no actually normally albums get released on mondays... i dont know why they decided to do it on a friday....

I'm pissed. I tried for tickets on ticketmaster and I couldn't get ANY. Right at 10, gone.

 

 

 

 

There are not WORDS to describe how upset I have been lately at how ticket sales have been carried out lately. Something fishy is going on with ticketmaster...

 

So far all the tickets to the Boston GA show are 150+. They were 25 bucks!!! What a crock.

In a way, it does. But I was OK with U2 tickets, since I ended up getting mine off of scalpers anyways (which I was prepared to do). It feels more like Radiohead's recent ticket sale. Unbelievable. There were no tickets offered on ticketmaster, there's no way a show sells out in 30 seconds, even if it's a small venue. I have a horrible suspicion that ticketmaster might be selling tickets to scalpers.

 

I was just talking to my mom and she said that I should write an article to our local newspaper about this. My dad went on yesterday and he tried for 45 minutes straight trying to get tickets. He's a doctor and he actually had a patient waiting for about 15 minutes while he tried. Now you could say that's ridiculous for him to do, but he knew how much I wanted to go. It makes me SO upset that he couldn't get anything out of that. Not upset for me, and the fact that I won't be seeing them as a "Junior year graduation gift", but upset for him because he had to let me down.

 

 

It's just wrong. Something needs to be done about this.

I see it's the same situation all over the world, it's the same here with just one organisation who is selling any kind of tickets and it's not even able to provide a server for its website to let people enter and buy tickets with no problems...any big concert it's a fight, the website is always blocked, for U2 last year, and for Madonna, Bruce Springsteen, Pearl Jam this year (just to name a few), in the shops there are queues of hundreds people waiting to buy a ticket...and then any time you can find scalpers outside the venues with blocks of tickets. We're now trying to do something and draw the attention of newspapers, let's hope something will be made cause it's really a monopoly and they take advantage of people who just want to see a concert :sick:

Yeah right to the newspapers Danielle. I think you could right something really good. It is injustice how ticket sales are carried out now. It is not fair to the true fans who just want to see their favourite bands.

Hmmm.... according to our local music retailer, Under the Iron Sea is currently available in stores!!:o

 

Even their website states that the release date is in may!:confused: Gonna check tommorow!! Cant wait!:D

You don't have to pay..just wait and you will be able to download again..rapidshare has this limit of MB downloadable in one hour, after that amount you need to wait (just open the link of the tenth song, after clicking on free you will see how many minutes you need to wait for) but it's free ;)

I had to give in to scalpers, but I actually got the cheapest price I can expect to find, 60 bucks per ticket. Over a 100% increase, but my dad said that since I survived my Junior year of high school, he didn't mind paying that.
