Coldplay, Kaiser Chiefs and James Blunt are among the artists announced to play at the Brit Awards. Paul Weller will also perform on the night and will receive a lifetime achievement award. Other artists confirmed for the event include KT Tunstall, Kelly Clarkson and Kanye West. The Dutch are being spoiled by EMI. As reported earlier, last month 3 exclusive limited edition singles of 'Talk' were released in the Netherlands including live bonus tracks. :lol: Yea I bought this jacket from yoox.com a few days ago that looks like chris martins jacket. I really wanted and i had the money, and the jacket was a size 42. I was debating how big that would be, and it says it converts to a size XL in mens. I am 17 I am about 5'9 and I weigh about 160 pounds. I was wondering if you think that would fit me. Are they measuring around the waist that's a size 42 or the chest or what. Help would be appreciated for anyone who knows about mens sizing.... Wondering if any of the coldplayers out there might help out by posting any black and white images/photos they may have of the band or individually. I am trying to find a good B&W to frame for my wall of music. I've seen a few photos, but they have been doctored, added to, etc. I tired searching, and didn't find much, so please let me know if I missed something. I've just been listening to the Radio 1 Chart Show and I'm kinda disappointed that "Talk" dropped to #22 again.. It's really, really sad, I thought it would finally be a big hit for Coldplay and would make it to No. 1 or at least under the Top 10 :confused: A few weeks ago, we were all saying that it's going to be a huge hit and now no-one seems to be interested in it.. That's very disappointing, in my opinion! The album is still at #13, which is the only good news, I guess.. I swear its like an episode of the twilight zone, theres always someone where i work who's whistling this. Everytime its on the radio theres half a dozen people whistling along, you go to the toilet and in a cubicle theres someone whistling it. Anyone else notice people whistling this? or is it just me?

I think Jonny is absolutely ugly. I don't understand why he got a girlfriend. Poor girl!!!! :/ He may plays good guitar but this is no excuse for his ugliness. Has anyone seen that new Verizon commercial where the guy is telling his old telephone company that he's switching to Verizon? Well when the guy shows his video phone, it looks like a vid clip of Speed of Sound is playing. For a second I thought it was MAD TV's version. :o Has anyone noticed this?

Oh shame on me for even suggesting that there are a few (but only a few!) Coldplay songs which I spin on when listening to my CDs! :o But just interested to know what other people think. Funnily enough, my least favourites are almost all on A Rush of Blood to the Head. To me, Coldplay do not sound so unique on this album - more as if they are copying 60s and 70s singers and bands. Apart from Politik, In My Place, The Scientist and Clocks, I am not really that keen on any of the tracks on this album and found it a bit of a disappointment after the superb Parachutes. I was a bit wary when first listening to X and Y, but though it didn't make an immediate impression…
