Does that make me evil?. :confused:

Has anyone noticed that, on X&Y, some of the songs seem to flow together extremely well? You know, like the later Pink Floyd's cohesive suite albums. When I'm listening to Swallowed by the Sea I don't notice the switch to Twisted Logic until the first 'you go backwards again', and this shows extreme promise in that field. Personally, I dislike compilation albums. The songs just seem to randomly switch from one to the next, often joltingly so. This is why I love Pink Floyd. It's almost...almost like classical music, like how a piece just flows together and repeats itself near the end and has recurring themes and whatnot...this is what I would love to see Coldplay…

The first time I saw them was when they were doing a special presentation of Live 2003 on CBC here in Canada. It was advertised in TV guide and the picture of chris made him look like an old country singer. Just the way the lighting was, the black and white picture, and the pose. I thought I was in for a bad suprise. Turns out they were just O.K. and that song Yellow was pretty cool and same thing with clocks. I taped it and a few weeks later I got really sick and I was just so down I didn't watch tv or anything but for some reason I kept watching the coldplay tape over and over. And now I love the band! :D :D Anybody else have any interesting stories?

Just thought i'd let you guys know that there's a nice double page spread review of Earls Court on 14/12/05. It's pretty good, some nice photos and a short interview with the boys. Worth getting, especially if you were there! :) If anyone wants me to scan & post it I will, but im not sure how good the qualty will be. :)

I have looked over the other shirt threads and it looks like the majority of the votes are for Yellow shirts with each person's individual user name on the back. In a special edition of Q magazine this month, Coldplay are listed in the '100 Greatest Albums Ever' not once, but twice!!! (Voted by Q readers) Parachutes went in at number 40, and AROBTTH is at 25. RESULT! :D

Chris Martin is in Heat magazine today (UK). It's the article about his 'car crash'. Headline : Chris Marting Goes Up Someone's Arse. It's pretty short, i can probably type it up later after the programme about Tourettes :) There's also some pictures of Gwenyth dotted about, and she's featured in an article about New Year celeb babies.
