im from philly and theres speculation they are going to play with an orchestra at this show in camden, anyone to shed light on this? have Coldplay played with an orchestra before?

I was just on a Manic Street Preachers message board, and someone said they wanna see Chris and James Dean Bradfield do a duet together. Of course this would NEVER happen in a squillion years! but what would everyone think if this happened?! Thought i'd come here and get the opinion from the coldplay fanbase, being a fan of both bands i don't know what someone solely on one side would think!!! :D

Alright, now, to start off, Hey! I'm a "newbie". You can all call me Angely. Ok, so believe it or not about a week and a half ago, I had no type of interest in Coldplay. To me they were just that group that sang a weird song called Yellow! The sudden Blizzard in the Northeastern coast (US) meant no school and lathargism. So I'm channel surfing and I see this video that's called Clocks on MTV2, I decide to watch it. Right after the first verse, I was hooked. With the arrival of 5-6 new songs recently how are you guys feeling about the direction their new material is heading? I have to say that by enlarge I like it - quite how they are going to top AROBTTH I have no idea but it looks like they are lining up something of a smililar standard if they keep it up! :D

I got my hands on some early tickets from the K-Rock pre-sale. :) :-D I did not know about this pre-sale until an hour and a half before it ended, but atleast I got the seats. :P I'm soooo excited!! I can't wait to finally see them LIVE!! This totally made my week. By the sounds of it and all the reviews I've been reading from you all lately, this shound be on of the greatest experiences.

I live in Illinois - I saw them twice in August, I go to th UK (London, Manchester, and Whales) ... I've been to Amsterdam .. (but missed them there) and I'd go to Canada... I think they're the best band out there. And Chris... is a lyrical god... if anything can touch me ... make me cry, and make me think, it's him. I love him for making me feel again ... Few bands have influenced me over the years. Coldplay inspires me to want to learn how to really play music. And let's give it up for Chris Martin. The man is wonderful. He is the coolest frontman I have seen. And he loves his band. That's it! I am taking guitar/piano lessons!!!
