I love both Coldplay and U2, but I think that Coldplay just out right trumps U2. I see much more creativity in Coldplay than U2. U2 did have some very nice songs though (eg. Beautiful Day, Vertigo, Elevation, & With or Without You), but Coldplay's Clocks, Viva la Vida, Yellow, Speed of Sound, Square One, Talk, and many, many more just beat the sh*t out of U2 for me. So what do you think, U2 or Coldplay?

okay so I cant remember what the song sounds like its like stuck in my brain but doesnt want to come out, but its that music video that has the random clips in it. Like elvis and jimmy hendrix look like they are playing the U2 song. The clips flow together to the song.. Okay so I am bad at explaing it haha. But its fairly new maybe a few years old. I NEED TO FIND IT. ITS BUGGING ME MAN! so if any of you fine people have any clue what im thinking of and can find the video for me please do:)

Not exactly a music video, my life long ambition is to be a director of films and for now this is as close as I can get. So this is my action movie / music video for the Muse song KOC. Only constructive critism please. Theres more than enough nasty people on youtube who'll rip it to shreds. :\ I've tried to be as professional as possible and it took me months. </obje…

Winners List: A Fever You Can't Sweat Out- Panic At the Disco- 82 words (Stefan-C8) Fall Out Boy - From Under the Cork Tree- 127 words (Eglantine)

a great new-ish band.......i've liked them since about the start of last year (thats why i said new-ish :D) but they're still very unknown across the world. the band conists of Marcus Ratcliff, Davo McKenzie McConville & Jack Hamson Pull Tiger Tail (often abbreviated to PTT) are an indie rock band based in London and originating from Stratford-upon-Avon and Edinburgh; they formed in 2006 while attending Goldsmiths College. (thanks wikipedia ;) ) here's a few of their singles and that. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x9B5-AO0h60 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uv-88Lo8cEo http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vubHL9OxMEs leave a post if u like what you …

I'm selling 2 Radiohead tickets for Manchester gig (Sunday June 29th LCCC - Old Trafford Cricket Ground) - cheap and free postage. I can't make the gig anymore and I don't want the tickets going to waste, so I've knocked £30 off the price. I'm not charging any postage and the tickets are in hand, ready to send out, so it is a great bargain. Let me know if you want them - or you can just "buy it now" for them through ebay. Cheers, Ryan PS: All the details are in here: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200231559654&_trksid=p3907.m32&_trkparms=tab%3DSelling

The golden rules of Pop Babylon ... A cynical insider's guide to manufacturing a boy band By Anonymous Last updated at 10:24 PM on 14th June 2008 Comments (0) Add to My Stories For anyone thinking of putting together a boy band or a girl group, there are three golden rules. First and foremost, being able to sing is not essential. But looking good while appearing to sing is. As long as you have one or two good voices that can carry the rest of the group, you are halfway there. The ones with little or no talent - Victoria Beckham in the Spice Girls, Jason Orange in Take That or nearly all of Boyzone - are known as 'passengers'. Enlar…

Hello, i don't know if you share the same felling as I do but, don't you fell something different when listening to old hits? I mean, old memories, good old times with friends, trips that were made, well anything that takes you back to your younger days :) I am not that old, i was born in 1986 but... i don't know... the newer songs seems so unnatural? Well, i created this topic so that you (older guys) :P could post here more examples of songs from those times... Roxette - Spending My Time Goo Goo Dolls - Iris Live - Overcome More to come :)

Thread for the new band "The Rascals" featuring Miles Kane (Vocals/Guitar), Joe Edwards (bass) and Greg Mighall (drums). they're probably my favourite new band and move away from all the normal indie music about right now....its very dramatic sounding will psychadelic guitars and powerful vocals. u might recognise miles as being one half of "the last shadow puppets" aswell yes he's got 2! bands....but TLSP was more of a side project. comment if u like them aswell :D http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3HinYuz0fJE

Woolworths to ditch CD singles High street chain Woolworths has said it will stop selling CD singles in its stores. The group said that the format was in "terminal decline" and will be removed from the shelves from August. Sales of CD singles have fallen sharply as the popularity of downloading music from the internet has increased. However, it will continue to stock one-off releases, such as the X Factor winner, which the retailer says still sells hundreds of thousands of copies. Sales plunge Figures show that this year sales are a third of what they were in 2007 and the market is less than a sixth of what it was eight years ago. 78 million CD, tape …
