I'm completely ripping this thread off from another forum, but I thought it was a really interesting idea. Basically, this thread will be (hopefully... if people respond) dedicated to any open letters to those who will never read them. Have any messages for some idiot who ripped you off? That old lady at the grocery store who sneaks produce into her ugly knit bag? Your friends? Family? Yourself? Just get it off your chest. (and the funny thing is i stole that intro off another forum..so its now been stolen twice  ) here's an example Dear School I'm, Gone Out Of You! Bye x and Dear Razorlight New Single Is Class! Byeeeeeeeee! x You Get What …

This I ran across from a member of the Forbes.com Business & Finance Blog Network, posted by Andy Abraham: $63 Trillion Dollar Time Bomb: 1. Fact one: Derivatives are roughly 10 times the value of the entire world's output 2. Derivatives operate outside the grasp of governments, tax inspectors, and regulators 3. The domino effect which could be so enormous and scary 4. It is also impossible to establish their worth 5. Warren Buffett, the billionaire who made his money the old-fashioned way, called them "weapons of mass destruction." What do you think?? Truths or Falsehoods? Succinct or to Simplistic?

Jacquetta Hawkes had the right idea when she said, 'Each generation gets the Stonehenge it deserves' Here the 352-year-old Stonehenge deserved: Germanic tribesman doctor-dentist, "The King of Stonehenge" ("Amesbury Archer": born; 2340 BC - died; 2300 BC), came to Salisbury Plain from the Rhineland brown coal fields in 2323 BC seeking fortune. This ancient Royal architect (Snow sled inventor, Born in the Alps) designed Stonehenge Hospital healing centre, Double Bluestone Horsehoof, in honor of His two (2) beloved horses. For over a week "Bluestone and Bluestone" had pulled the Snow sleigh from South Wales to Stonehenge during the Snow blizzard of 2323 BC. The King's…

This is one of the craziest things I've seen on You Tube, but it's fabulous. Ever wondered what a pop video would be like if the song matched the pictures rather than the other way around? Seeing as Coldplay love A-ha, I'm sure they'd love this... I like feedback - don't we all! So, since our economy is on the brink of disaster, and our elected officeholders spend more time posturing than actually fixing anything, I thought maybe it's about time we Fix Them. Here's a short wish-list of things I'd like to see change with the US Congress - please add to the list & join in the discussion, even if you aren't from the US - because, as we all know, all the strands of the web are connected, so whatever we tug on here affects someone else, and vice-versa.. Reform List for 2008 and beyond: + Limit Congressional terms to 18 years max. + Make both the House and the Senate 6-year terms (=time for stable th…

Coldplaying.com is wedged between the anc.org.za above, and achloan.com below! I love to see the names on some of the site rankings by Qauantcast - above is bunn.com:laugh3:, and below is baltimorepolice.org ;) Anything strike you as humorous sites (in relation) "out there"?

I'm working on a project and I need to find a traditional music from Netherlands or Belgium. It's for an ambiance so something quiet. If you have any suggestions, please post here. I'm doing a report on how a company would culture-sensitise its staff when marketing a product in Latvia. Does anyone from Latvia, or near there, (or anyone who has been) know anything about DOs and DON'Ts with regards to advertising; what is acceptable, what isn't, that kind of thing. Thanks so much if anyone can help!

I havn't said much for a while, so I thought I'd return with some exquisite-chocolate-related spamming. So by all means, you can ignore this thread and let it die, because its completely unimportant and trivial :P Well i was wondering around my local shop today, picking up all the necessary items on my list (pringles, lasagne, pasta sauce etc), and having about £1 left over in change I decided to quickly check out the chocolate section next to the till. Basically, this was pretty much a bad decision, because i would end up picking up the latest version of the Kinder Bueno chocolate bar... the white chocolate version. Now I'm a sucker for anything white chocolate, and I…

It was bound to happen. Florida's thirst for oil could not be quenched with orange juice alone, and millions of Floridians are switching from bicycles and golf carts to autos, prompting a huge surge in the demand for oil.:P

http://www.informationclearinghouse.info/article 20984.htm Greg Pallast discusses purging voters from the rolls in the U.S. by new I.D. requirements under the "Help America Vote Act" that Bush pushed through the U.S. Congress. It's disenfranchising tens of thousands of citizens (some estimates of up to 3 million citizens) from voting by making it necessary to have a driver's license or passport to prove citizenship, and all the government databases with a given name for an address must match exactly, or the voter is taken off the rolls of eligible voters. (For example, Robert Kennedy Jr.'s name has to be listed exactly as-is for a number of government databases, so fo…
