:o Today Barack Obama visited a local public school in Norfolk, Va. And that school was less than two blocks away from MY school! But it was a public school and he's all about public school reform so he didn't pay my [private] school a visit, and we were sad. And my AP government class wanted to take a 'field trip' down to that school, but his visit wasn't open to the public. Sorry for the random thread, I thought it was pretty interesting.

Alright, this thread is for (in my opinion), the Mr Nice Guy of Coldplaying.... JD (Age Six Racer).....I COULD NOT BELIEVE THAT HE HASN'T GOT HIS OWN THREAD (At least I don't think he does...), He seems such a great guy, with a nice presonallity, good taste in music, good sense of humour and overall just a great guy (I said that twice, didn't I)....Never mind, he's great! Well, I havn't been on Coldplaying that long but JD has seemed so nice and has been nice to me, and from what I have seen, to everyone, so on behalf of coldplaying and me....here's a thread for.... JD :uneasy:

This is all happening too fast!! :bigcry: College applications, ordering my cap and gown, and I turn 18 in a few months. I want to be an adult and do whatever I want, and yet I'm not ready for any real responsibility. I'm independent, but I'm not ready to be completely independent! I think I have a Peter Pan complex. I wanna be 10 again. :bigcry:

Once upon a time, there were 3 Italian pigs. Giancarlo, the owner of a straw house, Antonio, the owner of a stick house, and Guido, the owner of a brick house. One day this nasty old wolf came up to Giancarlo's house and said, "I'm gonna huff, and puff and blow your house down." And he did! So Giancarlo went running over to Antonio's house and said "Let me in, please, the wolf just blew down my house!!" So Antonio let Giancarlo in. Then the wolf showed up and said, "I'm gonna huff and puff and blow your house down!" And he did! Antonio and Giancarlo went running over to Guido's house and said "Let us in! The wolf just blew down our houses and we're scared!…

Time for another random poll!!! And the question I was going to ask has been asked in the past couple months, so I couldn't use that :( And I can't think of any question so here is a crap one sorry :( The way to test is to get some text displayed in which you can read quite happily, then cover your right eye and then cover your left eye. Is the text clearer with the right eye covered or left eye covered?

http://www.newstribune.info/news/x997991787/Student-athletes-honor-classmate Nicest boy I ever freaking met. The school scheduled this at something like 7:30 AM for whatever fucking reason. I don't know if I'm even going to be able to see him again. This is a sucky article though. And I don't know what giving him stuff would do. I mean, it's a nice gesture, but if I were dying, I'd want something I could think about and remember, like things people say to me and hugs. When he's gone, his family's going to round every corner like he's standing there. They're going to open every door like he's behind it. And while they're still waiting to see him, we'll ha…

Hey guys! So something quite horrible happened.. basically school started back up this year. and as usual, my dinky little private school fucked up my whole entire schedule..! So basically, in order to get one of the AP courses they offer (and i've been doing AP since i was in elementary school).. i had to switch around my whole entire schedule.. This left me with all 3 sciences, and i had to leave economics.. one of the only two business courses we had in my grade.. so i was like okay fine, i'll deal with it, as long as i got that AP course.. But, i've been siting in Biology for the past four days of school.. and i CANNOT stand it.. like it is BORING, and HARD and …

Though it is true, a material gift is not the most important thing, but the basic thing it are the spiritual gifts, the company and the support , there is never other tangent sample of the fondness and good desires for the future marriage. Look what was in my private message inbox: Hi, I'm new here, how's it going? "Buddhism has the characteristics of what would be expected in a cosmic religion for the future: it transcends a personal God, avoids dogmas and theology; it covers both the natural & spiritual, and it is based on a religious sense aspiring from the experience of all things as a meaningful unity" - Albert Einstein --- emile_jensen http://two.xthost.info/jensen :wacky:

Firstly, no, this is not a thread for you to Love other members in :P OK the important question of the day: How seriously is this word taken these days? ----- We were discussing it a bit in the anti-love thread by Julia, and a few people realise that the word is getting thrown around a lot these days. Not just on the forum, but in life generally. Is it becoming fashionable to love someone? Is being a person who is 'full of love' for everyone a good thing? Is it better to be a bit more protective about who you love? There is a feeling among people who defend the widespread appeal of 'love', it goes like this: 'It cant hurt to love someone. Dont be a…

What do you do when you have trouble sleeping? I usually drink something warm, like tea or hot chocolate, that seems to help. But lately I have a lot on my mind and I can't sleep. I can't seem to turn my brain off. Got any tips?

Firstly sorry for disappearing again, but the past week I haven't really been feeling like myself, thinking strange thoughts I haven't thought for ages since I was around 16, but hopefully I'm better because this song was the soundtrack to my depressions back 5 years ago and it's still working now: That's not the beginning of the end That's the return to yourself The return to innocence Love - Devotion Feeling - Emotion Love - Devotion Feeling - Emotion Don't be afraid to be weak Don't be too proud to be strong Just look into your heart my friend That will be the return to yourself The return to innocence If you want, then start to laugh If you must, the…

I was born in 1990 and all that decade made my childhood. Sometimes when i listen accidentally to the 90's songs i feel like crying and my memory flies to good old times...and most of all make me remember my godfather, the man who helped my grandparents raising me. And my favorites, i mean, those who make me remember the most, are the dance ones, it's not a style that i appreciate but the 90's ones put a smile on my face :) My all time favorite has got to be this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mpHLEm9-0bg&feature=related Great man, r.i.p. Scatman John  I WANT THE 90'S BACK!
