I'm not saying all this just to complain, I just wanted to let you all know why I might seem bummed for a while. On Sunday, my two bandmates (drummer and bassist) got into a huge fight over food. Yes, food. They actually got into a fistfight (which I had to break up) and my bassist's parents got involved so now we can no longer play at his house. Also my drummer's parents and my parents won't accept fighting, so we can't have any practices anywhere, and we're supposed to play a live show in a month. So over the course of the week there has been more fighting, and our band is pretty much done now, so close to finally playing a show, and we're done because my bandmat…

Before I tell this story you must know that Randy (my neighbor) is a sane man, he is actually a professor at our community college. Ok, I was out to check the mail earlier today and I heard a loud humming sound coming from my neighbors yard. It was the humming of Viva La Vida :o. So I went to ask my neighbor about it  and here is where it gets weird Me: *runs to the fence* "You like coldplay?" Randy (neighbor): *looks at me with bulging eyes and runs to the fence* " SHHHHH you don't want anything to hear you son. Me:  What?? Randy: "I'm gonna slowly walk inside now and you don't say a word, k?" Me: ooookkk :uhoh: Randy: *slowly walks backwards…

Myself and Coldplay92 (James) present a first for Coldplaying (maybe, we're not too sure). We have just completed our first collaboration. Recorded in two different parts of the country: Liverpool (where I live) and Scotland (where James lives). I recorded the guitar parts and then sent them to James then he recorded his vocals on top then sent them back to me. I then added my own harmonies and then the track was finished    Please be nice with us as this is our first collaboration, hope you enjoy. It's a cover of The Verve's Sonnet http://rapidshare.com/files/132429229/Barry_Briercliffe_and_James_Walker_-_Sonnet__Verve_Cover___mp3_.mp3.htm…

Hey everyone, Im super sorry for spamming this but its part of my job. Anyways, I work for a company called EF COLLEGE BREAK (http://www.efcollegebreak.com) What they do is provide college kids in the united states, and canada (sorry for everyone else) a opportunity to see the entire world on an educational level. I know that sounds boring, but what they do is they run tours all summer long (and new years as well) to basically every country in the world such as ALL of Europe, China, Japan, Costa Rica, Australia, Ireland, and many more. Now these tours run anywhere from 1 week (7 days) all the way through 35 days (ultimate Europe). This company gets the best packaged…

Ooooookies.....I'm so freaking happy right now and I hope everything will turn out well.... (I don't want to be too euphoric) BUT as some of you might know I've quite uni some weeks ago. Now I decided to do an apprenticeship in a music store where instruments, notes and sound storage mediums are sold. I can still study musicology at uni afterwards....I think such a practical thing is better for me than this theoretic uni stuff and working in such a store or a record store is something I really would love to do in the future (I always thought people who do that are cool haha....:wacky:)... so the new year for an apprenticeship has already begun, but I appli…

Its yours, you can have it....but what would you spend it? I mean if you were given..out of nowhere £100. For some of us £100 means more then others. I'd buy these trousers I saw the other day.....because i'd never normally spend €100 on one item of clothing...but I really liked them. :\ Saying this...I live at home...so my Mommy cooks my food for me. :P Others might just spend it on day to day necessities.

Do you act differently when posting here or are you the same way in real life? I think that most of the time on Coldplaying I act like I am off of it. Except for when I'm talking about how I want Eugene Hutz in my pants. I'd never admit that to anybody out here...so keep it quiet, under wraps. Shh! :sneaky: Yeah, I tend to be pervier on message boards. You guys bring out the worst in me. I usually am a lot more open about how I feel about things here. It's easier to talk about things with people you don't really know. At least for me.

n Flanders fields the poppies blow Between the crosses, row on row, That mark our place; and in the sky The larks, still bravely singing, fly Scarce heard amid the guns below. We are the dead. Short days ago We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow, Loved, and were loved, and now we lie In Flanders fields. Take up our quarrel with the foe: To you from failing hands we throw The torch; be yours to hold it high. If ye break faith with us who die We shall not sleep, though poppies grow In Flanders fields. Time to wear your poppies with pride, remember the fallen, care for the living. The Poppy Appeal 2008
