wtf is with 1:10?

yeah, what was that part?

and the ending where Voldemort goes 'only i can live forever', where exactly is that part from? if i remember correctly, in the book, the last duel between Harry and Voldemort was taken place in front of everyone.

I guess they had to make some changes that differs the book from the movie... but so long as it's not the important points...

Is it just me or does anyone else feel nostalgic about this being the last movie?

wtf is with 1:10? or for that matter, all the clips we've seen since the trailers for pt. 1 that show Harry and Voldemort talking face to face at some part of the castle e.g. the 'I have something worth living for' bit.

I first hoped it was just to add drama to the trailer, but now it seems like these are from an actual scene, which scares me. I really hope they didn't screw around with the king's cross chapter...

Yeah what the hell is that? Thats not in the book!

And I really hope that King's Cross chapter has stayed the same, its the most important part of the book, where you finally find out everything about Harry!

Other than that I like the trailer and the movie will be epic and its in 3D!

Looks awesome, but yeah I do have to say what in the crap was that @ 1:10. Seriously! Well, at least Harry has learned something, although guns seem to be unobtainable in the world he lives in; one way of killing Voldemort is shoving him off a tall tower... or... hugging him to death... like that scene... um....... Harry Potter, you are doing it wrong.

It's like the you jump I jump thing. lol

I had a dream last night that my life's purpose was to relive all the Harry Potter books. It was quite epic, but then I was reliving The Goblet of Fire and things weren't happening as they did in the book so I was mad. :P

I was watching etalk today and they were doing a thing on The Hunger Games and how it is going to be the next big franchise now that it is being made into a movie...and then they compared it to Harry Potter.

That is not ok.

Can't believe its all going to be over...no more waiting each year for "the new harry potter movie" :(

its been a part of my life for so long, what will I look forward to watching now?? Just glad I was able to be a part of this experience :)

I but I keep thinking back to when I went to see the first one when I was 11, when I had no clue how the story ended and when I could not imagine this day finally coming. Wow how time goes by. I saw the commercial and I just had no words. Its not just about the movie, its just realising how I've grown up as well. I see them growing up in the movies and see myself growing up throughout movies along with them too...

Sorry for rambling on, its just how I feel after seeing the movie trailer, it looks pretty awesome though. Just confused about the voldemort fight..

I know how you feel! I remember reading the first book, watching the first movie. Waiting for the 7th book, buying it at midnight and reading it for two days. Not watching TV, not going to internet, just reading and reading. And I cried so much at the end. And now its the time for the last movie. I know I'll cry. They will show Fred's death and I'm sure I'll brake there.

I can't believe that its over. I grew up with Harry!

I'm gonna be so sad at the end of the movie, because it really is the end. No more new books, no more new films to look forward to.

But lucky we still have the books to read for the 100th time and the dvds to watch all over again!

I'm so sad it's going to be over. When the last book came out I was (obviously) depressed that there would be no new Harry Potter books to read, but at least we still had a few movies to look forward to. And now it's all going to be over. :bigcry:

I started rereading all the books for the zillionth time...I have to prep for the last movie so I'm in an extra fanatical fangirl state!!!

So in the last few days I finished rereading Philosopher's Stone and Chamber of Secrets. 2 down, 5 to go until I'm ready for the movie! (Though I reread the 6th and 7th in November right before DH Part 1, so I haven't decided if I will read them again too.)

Harry Potter

Harry Potter represents my childhood. I spent my early-mid teen years discussing eagerly at Harry Potter forums, and writing Harry Potter RPGs. It's sad that it's the last movie, but still I'm really looking forward to wear my Ravenclaw scarf, bring my wand and enjoy Harry Potter for the last time. It's okay it's come to an end, I'm ready to grow up, still I will always feel nostalgic about Harry Potter. :kid:

To those of you that feels that the movies are to different to the books, remember to see them as a supplement to the books, if there are conflicts, the books get the first word.

If you ever feel like you miss Harry Potter you can always sing "Goin' Back To Hogwarts" from AVPM:

yay, my tickets for the midnight screening have been booked.

Can't wait for July 12 :D

I'll watch it next July 13, 22:00 :dazzled:

The last movie looks really good. :dazzled:

I hope they say "Teignmouth" a few more times so I can fangirl squee :dazzled:

Ohhh I still haven't bought the tickets since I have no idea where I'll be on the 13th. Home or at uni! Its soooo frustrating!!!!

I'm going to the midnight (plus fifteen minutes  ) premiere! It's gonna be crazy and emotional.

Omg I was trying so hard not to cry but jk rowling got me in the end by saying hogwarts' doors will always be open and welcome us home :(

Growing up with harry potter was the most amazing thing ever and was an honor :D

^^Agreed. I don't think I'll get to go to the midnight premiere, but I have to see it!! It's going to be epic. :)

Yea I actually never go to the midnight premiers. They r too crowded for me. I go the day it comes out but I go at like 3pm cuz no one goes at that time :D and I get a theatre that is almost empty and its great for watching the movie. No annoying people,no annoying kids, and then if I feel like crying (which I will) there wont be anybody :D

Now I just gotta decide if to wear my gryffindor shirt or not cuz im embarrassed :P

Wear it! :) I've only been to the 6th movie's premiere...A friend and I dressed up as Hogwarts students. :) It's so hard to believe it's over....

I still remember all the things those books have helped me get over. I think my favorite hidden thing in the books is the Mirror of Erised...Do you know about that? The secret to it, I mean?

Well im just embarrassed cuz I feel im too old to wear it, but I might wear it cuz it is the last time I go see a new HP movie in theaters! :(

And it is really hard to know its over. Its just so weird. Its also a sign that we are all grown up now. I remember thinking as a kid that it would take forever for the last movie to come out....and look at us now.

Yea they were so great. No other book has captivated me like those books. They are just something else!

Oh and well what's the secret? I only know of what it said in the movie is there something else?

I really loved the story of the three brothers and it was so amazing how thy did it in the movie! :D
