an_catI'm keeping my fingers crossed for them to come back in maybe another year or 2, I don't know about you guys. *sends lots of good karma to band* C'mon U2, pull a Zooropa, make a quick, brilliant album and get back on tour!

 

amen. that's whay i say....so i can start getting prepared...im saying this: next time they come around, i better see them 3+ shows of u2, i dont care if they are all the way in seattle(very far away for me)...im going!!!! :D one way or another(guess i better start saving :greedy: )

 

there is something DEEPER in the house. Something above me, or Bono, or anyone. I really feel a strange urge to drop to my knees at the end of each show. Sure, it sounds really weird, but for a person who's never believed in anything, they give me something to believe in. I can feel Coldplay aspiring to that, and I felt the beginings of it in August. I just don't think they have that experience as of yet. Give them a few more thousand stadium shows and 20 more years, and I'm sure they'll be right there alongside U2.

 

well, take it from a person who actually believes..u2 does create that feeling of DEEPNESS(not sure if that's a word) specially form bono...although i sort of get annoyed whenever he kneels down plays blind(dvd on bullet the blue sky) however, when he sings one...oi...i do feel... :o :o

 

coldplay is aspiring to that...as they get older and more wiser one can see hints of u2 in coldplay...but only time will tell... :rolleyes:

I'm a convert. Apart from KidA/Amnesiac. Actually, I don't think most people liked KidA when it was first released.

I'm still trying for tickets for monday people. SEND GOOD VIBES. Apparently I got Second Chance on Ebay for a pair, and it told me to buy it now, but it won't work! :angry:

I agree with RA-D. I'm a convert too. Took me 2 years + X&Y before I could finish Kid A and appreciate what musical geniuses they are. And I'm still figuring out what they're all about... I'm learning a new aspect about them musically everyday.

Anyway...good vibes sent to you labell...you must see them, everyone should see at least one U2 concert in their life...and next time I must see more than 2 for sure, I'm preparing to travel, well if my job will allow me to :dozey:

 

I'm praying they will do one again at Slane Castle next year...and I must be there :sneaky:

I don't understand how U2 is nominated for grammy's this year...weren't they already nominated with the same album from last year? Or am I just stupid and totally missing something? Most likely... :huh:

^^ Because only Veritgo was nominated last year, the album and other singles were not eligible yet.

hey everybody is it nessesary to get the 2 disc dvd of chicago or just the normal one i heard the 2disc is a ripoff

The second disc is ok. The documentary is fun, but it's only a half hour long. You could probably live without it. I haven't really watched the surveillance cuts, they were grainy (well, obviously) and kinda boring.

 

If you don't really care about those things, just get the regular one. The concert is really all you need.

an_cat, that is so calming! when i found out that there was a two disk set i wanted to jump off a building! i thought it had more live footage but since its just documentary! phew! ;)

 

i just saw the vido for OOTS....and WOW...... :cry: :cry: its so beautiful...i knew it was going to be a single here in the US since all because of you didnt do to well(sadly). i know it premiered in fuse this week, and in vh1 as well...it was mind-blowing! :stunned: :stunned:

So OOTS is going to be the next single only in America or Europe as well? Well I don't know I think it's a super brilliant song and I love this video but I really want Miracle Drug as single, it's the first song I fell in love with when I first listened to HTDAAB :rolleyes:

I don't like the releasing of 5 singles from one album, it really seems to be scraping a barrel really. I know, in this case, that it is a silver plated barrell, but what's wrong with leaving the rest as album tracks.

...maybe OOTS...you're right, I don't know why but I didn't realised this would be their fifth single, but why they should have filmed this video then if not for a single release :huh:
