August 25, 200916 yr oh they are really good !! my fav one is "I Will Follow You Into the Dark" its so great, the lyrics are so cute :} it is. i love that song tooooooooo
September 2, 200916 yr They're music is unbelievably relaxing to me. And very, simple. On their earlier albums anyways. Definitely one of my favorite bands
September 2, 200916 yr So I heard that DCFC is composing the lead single for the Twilight sequel. :veryangry2: (More Death Cab is fantastic, but Twilight?)
September 2, 200916 yr Passenger Seat is my favourite Death Cab song. It's my no 2 most played on itunes
September 2, 200916 yr I recently heard "cath..." and its the first i have ever heard of them. I now really want to hear some more so i was wondering whether anyone could upload me their best album?
September 2, 200916 yr I recently heard "cath..." and its the first i have ever heard of them. I now really want to hear some more so i was wondering whether anyone could upload me their best album? I can't upload anything right now (I might be able to tonight, though), but I can tell you some of their tracks that you must hear! First of all, Transatlanticism is the best album out there. With that said, definitely try Plans and The Photo Album (both amazing albums as well). My favorite DCFC tracks: Grapevine Fires (from Narrow Stairs) I Will Possess Your Heart (from Narrow Stairs) A Lack of Color (from Transatlanticism) Marching Bands of Manhattan (from Plans) Passenger Seat (from Transatlanticism) Transatlanticism (from Transatlanticism) What Sarah Said (from Plans) Soul Meets Body (from Plans) Coney Island (from The Photo Album)
September 3, 200916 yr ^thankyou for that information. I will try and listen on youtube or something. If you could upload anything that would be great.
September 4, 200916 yr To me, it's always varying between Transatlanticism and Plans. Both are extraordinary good.
February 28, 201016 yr I only have Narrow Stairs LP and I haven't listened to it very well, but I love 'I will posses your heart'. I have to listed to this LP more to say something more about them.
February 28, 201016 yr Yeah, pay attention to Grapevine Fires, Long Division and Your New Twin Sized Bed :wacky:
February 28, 201016 yr I listened a lot to Grapevine Fires when I was working in a vineyard (very, very shitty work). The idea of grapevines burning was really therapeutic. :P I agree that both Transatlanticism and Plans are extraordinarily good, but Narrow Stairs is pretty awesome as well.
April 25, 201016 yr ^what a great album! I remember it was the first death cab album i got and I didn't like it because of vocals. then i revisited it a few months ago and it was great!
April 25, 201016 yr So how much are you into them now? What's your favorite album? My siggy rocks
April 25, 201016 yr I'm not into them as much as say a year ago, but I still really like them! I have to listen to them more and get into their other albums. Transatlanticism is the only album that I'm pretty familular with.
April 25, 201016 yr I was so into DCFC in 2006. :laugh3: Transatlanticism is a great album for cleaning, by the way. :P
April 25, 201016 yr New album in spring 2011? Sounds about right: http://www.nme.com/news/death-cab-for-cutie/50807 I'm not into them as much as say a year ago, but I still really like them! I have to listen to them more and get into their other albums. Transatlanticism is the only album that I'm pretty familular with. Transatlanticism is a fan-favorite, although I still like Plans the best (though it's a more mainstream album). Definitely check out there other stuff. Even their earliest stuff is interesting.
April 26, 201016 yr ^Oh yeaaah, new stuff (that they won't give away to a movie. Yes, I love Meet Me On The Equinox, it's a brilliant track :wacky:). And same here, Plans is my second favorite album of all time, even if it's more mainstream. I love some of their earlier stuff, but I don't like the atmosphere of it, I'm much more a fan of their last 3 albums.
September 23, 201015 yr Bump. I am gonna go buy a Death Cab CD one of these days, could somebody recommend a good one to start off with?
