October 19, 200619 yr :stunned: What amazing pics Lina, seriously :nice: And as Mildred said, I absolutely loved your first photo eglantine, great composition there! My camera's been stolen, so I guess I won't be posting any new pics in a while :(
October 19, 200619 yr ^Oh my god, Andy, I'm sorry... :( I'd be so fucking upset if that happened to me. Speaking of cameras, I know this has nothing to do with art perse, but it will be affecting mine in the future! I'm getting a Canon for christmas, and I'm really excited about it :D I'm fairly sure that it's going to be a Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT, but I havne't done enough research yet to know if that's THE one. It's definately in the perfect price range though. omg, it's so sexy... :laugh4: Sorry, I don't mean to babble about myself, I hate that, but I just really can't contain my excitement! No more point and shoots that I have to edit the shit out of! Perhaps anyone who really really knows a lot about Canons/cameras in general, could give me some advice? :D
October 19, 200619 yr Aw that looks like one sweet camera! What kind of lens does it have? I don't seem to be able to see that! :laugh4: Seriously, I'm dying to get a proper digi-cam. The one stolen was a crappy one, so no big deal about that, but I still love my old fashioned reflex camera which used to be my dad's :nice: It feels like I'm continuing the family legacy with that one, and it's a great Olympus camera, so YEY for old school cameras!
October 19, 200619 yr I'm not sure, exactly.. Can't tell from the picture on Amazon.... I have to look into that... HOLY SHIT PROJECT RUNWAY MOMENT OF TRUTH.... SORRY *GOT TO GO LMFAO*
October 19, 200619 yr Canon Digital Rebel XT 8MP Digital SLR Camera with EF-S 18-55mm f3.5-5.6 Lens (Black) That's all the info I can muster at the moment ;)
October 19, 200619 yr Mmmm that's a pretty good lens :wink2: Without knowing about prices, only thing I can add is, I would go for a brighter one being you, one that give you more f stops maybe? That might make it really expensive though, can't tell really. Oh what the hell, I'm trying to be helpful here but no idea if it's working :laugh4:
October 19, 200619 yr I know what you're saying, I'm definately going to be looking into lenses. What I like about the camera is not only the price (under 1000 is my budget ;) ), but the fact that it's small and will fit in my hands as one of the Amazon.com reviewers mentioned (I have slightly small hands, I've never been able to handle a big heavy camera that well, although I do if I have to lmfao). I'm going to look into pricing on different lenses, flashes, etc etc lmfao I don't know I haven't gotten too deep into it. ;)
October 19, 200619 yr Oh great great, just thought I'll drop a couple of lines on what I thought about it! Good luck on your search and happy christmas! :laugh4:

Digi ones are amazing, but I prefer the different sense when you take a picture with an old one. Developing its the coolest part:D I once saw at an exhibit this photographer who did this completely fabulous B&W pictures. Most of the people of my class thought it was mostly digital work(It was like a class trip) and when we chatted with him he told us it was all dark-room work. We were all in awe:stunned: [/ends rant]
October 19, 200619 yr i wish i could take such beautiful pics too. my dad just bought a 700 € camera, which takes superb pics, but i think i will never let me use it  so i guess i have to cope with my crappy digital camera.
October 19, 200619 yr I would love to invest my time into "old skool" photography (dark rooms I mean ;) ), but I simply don't have the resources or know how for it. That's really MY prefered form of photograph to LOOK at.... but.... To take those pictures, then develope them and find ways to properly get them onto the internet (where I'm trying to gain attention, since it seems the most feasible way)... it's just a big hassle. Perhaps in the future, but for now I'm really trying to teach myself as much as I can about digital photography. Plus I have mastered photoshop :smug: :laugh4: Well, kinda haha yellowish, that picture of the sky is utterly beautiful. :stunned: I love how soft it looks, in contrast with the dark, sharp trees. I really love it! Great job!
October 19, 200619 yr Ella and Lina, great pictures!! What a cute kitty! Sorry to hear about your camera Andy. I also want to get a digital camera for Christmas, but I have no idea which one, but I'm tired of borowing my dad's because he only lets me have it for a day or two, after that he wants it back:\ . I just need one so I can keep on practicing and learning. I have get more info on cameras.
October 19, 200619 yr Aw' date=' Im so sorry that your camera was stolen Andy![/quote'] Awww it's okey, thanks for the nice words :nice: I really hope we get one SOON! And I totally agree with you Dani on that, digital is definitely the way to go for practising! I wish I owned one, I guess all that's left for me is saving enough to get a proper one :\ That will take a long time, but whatever, worthy! I love old-skool most definitely, I've never been a fan of digital form but it's so practical! Plus, I'm asked to hand in that way (aka not digi :laugh4:) at uni, so I don't really have the choice. Oh and Ella, as everyone said, I loved that photo SO BADLY! It's awesome
October 20, 200619 yr Ella, Mildred, Lina and Andy. I'm glad that you like them. :) In future I'll probably make more shots of some details so perhaps you'll see more photos of that kind... Lina - both of your photos are great - especially the second one because of those yellow leaves and the car which makes a good contrast to them, imo. Oh and the kitty! This is such an aww-ish picture! The cat is adorable and I like this bW style! :) Ella - wow. Mornings in Finland are like that? If so, I'd love to go there and I wouldn't have troubles with getting up early to try to make a good photo like you did. =)

October 20, 200619 yr Ella-Wow. I had no idea sunrises/sunsets were so gorgeous in Finland :stunned: Lina- I love the picture, its very nostalgic. Denise-I LOOOOOOve the second and forth ones.
