It's got little to do with respect but with the laws of the country. In lots of European countries, you cannot publish pictures of minors without the parents' consent. I think this is only fair.

You know, when we fill out the papers for my children's school, we have to sign consent (or not) for their names (first name with last initial), pictures, school work, anything, that could be published on the school website or the district website. When I was helping with the school website and even the little school newsletter, I had to cross check names with the consent forms before we could put anything up. We have to sign consents for the yearbook, too.

 

I dont know why those rules don't apply to celebrity's children.

My son's school always asks permission first for the kids to go on school trips and have rung me on a couple of occasions if it was ok for my son (7) to be able to talk on the radio or even if his picture is taken that its ok to be published adn we sign consent forms too , glad as a parent we can use these options:D

They basically spin what she says, from the original interview. And if she is interviewed and says something it always sounds stuck up to the media. Such as I love Spain the place has so much history, buildings in America don't have as much history = I hate America.
