Random Coldplay thoughts...

I am so happy to see your post, I can totally relate! I've seen the guys in concert a few times but this last time really got to me! It almost seemed like an out of body experience and while I'm a little embarrassed to say it, I got really emotional and cried a little. I get chills every time I listen to their music and just float away to another world. As you said, I can't really talk about to anyone. They'll just think I'm crazy.

Oh, I can totally relate as well. I've only seen them once but there were moments during that concert when I truly felt "drunk and high," without really being "drunk and high," you know? It was surreal. Of course I've had fun at other concerts, but no other artist has made me feel this way during a concert. It's a truly unforgettable feeling of joy and peace. :)

That's why seeing Coldplay live is my drug of choice. ;)

The worst part is the empty feeling once it's over [emoji17] I could see them in concert everyday of my life and have the same feelings over and over.

Yeah, it all felt like a dream afterward. Though watching videos of the concert really brings back a lot of memories, a video can't quite capture the same feeling. For example, a video might make the Xylobands look dazzling during Charlie Brown, but there's nothing quite like actually standing in the crowd as they twinkle and glow. And you might think it's awesome when you hear the crowd singing the Viva chant in unision, but there's nothing quite like being one of those thousands of voices.

So true.

Yes!!! You're especially lucky though because you actually got to see that show in person. :)

Oh, and remember this post earlier?

I suppose you're a part of that club as well, @coldplay luver , because you got to attend one of the GS Live 2014 tapings. :)

Woah I think seeing them at Stade de France takes the cake though! It was actually out of pure luck that I got to attend the taping. I actually won tickets to see the the first night's taping but since it was first come first serve they could only fill to a certain capacity. And they cut the line off right in front of me...I would have been next to go in! But the company hosting the event was nice enough to provide us few remaining fans in line with a special access code to print the tickets for the second night, and you can be sure that I was first in line bright and early in the morning lol

It's 1:36 am when I checked the time, and I should be a asleep. But i had stayed up late to make my shirt for the concert tonight. Now, after reading posts about the emptiness after coldplay concerts end, I'm lying in bed thinking how I'm still in the excitedly waiting phase. I need to enjoy looking forward to tonight, because it's over so quick! Good night coldplaying. I'll cry about my coldplay withdrawl later! Lol

They will never know my name or my face but I definitely carry pieces of their hearts and souls inside of me [emoji173]

This resonates with me so much. Especially right now. I was having a rather bad day. It can be so much harder to forgive yourself than to forgive anyone else sometimes. Guilt is such an overwhelming feeling. Nothing was working. But then I put on my headphones and shut my eyes. I can't really pinpoint which particular song did it but just listening to Coldplay made me feel better. It was like a friend telling me it's okay and that I'm human and allowed to make mistakes. There's no point in beating myself up about it. We grow from our mistakes :)

I will be definitely doing that!!! So excited!! I got especially excited when I saw them post about the halftime show and how they're back at a familiar venue. I still can't believe I was there with them at SB50 and now I'm going back there again but now to hear them play longer than 12 minutes lol :D
