  • I just wanted to say, after 5 years of being part of the Coldplay fandom, first on Coldplaying, now on Coldplaying, Twitter and other platforms, a wonderful thing happened today: Coldplay followed me

  • I ran away
    I ran away

On this day exactly 5 years ago, a young and innocent person who was just getting really into Coldplay wanted to sign up on a forum called Coldplaying. Faced with the question of what to pick as a use

  • Today exactly 5 years ago, I joined the Coldplaying community and I don't regret that that. To be honest, it's probably one of the best things that have happened in my life! I had never thought I woul

Lol it's Oscar from The Office

Today felt like Christmas day:

My collector ticket for Coldplay in Frankfurt finally arrived.

And I got a lovely Christmas card from Alicjanna. [emoji4][emoji319]

Can you please show us a photo of your Frankfurt collector ticket ? :)

It isn't as beautiful as the Paris one.

Thanks for sharing. Oh alright, it's not holographic then.

Still a million times better than my paper ticket, which Ticketmaster couldn't have designed any uglier if they tried :D

Also, the girls on both sides of it seem to have the time of their lives already :P

Now I'm curious about that ugly ticket [emoji1]

Wow it arrived so quickly! I'm glad that you like it :)

Today I took part in an Amnesty International event (btw. it was one of the best things I experienced this year) and someone from my school was playing music to make writing more enjoyable. And he played YELLOW! I was so over the moon that I wasn't able to focus on writing... I couldn't keep myself from to singing along silently but I wasn't the only one! Someone who I don't know was humming the chorus while giving back his letter [emoji169]

You should defenitely check out if someone is organising this kind of event in your area - it's absolutely worth the time!

I just realised that Amnesty's logo is all Yellow [emoji1]

This was an amazing day...

This is me in the future :D

Haha good one !

I actually thought about this recently, you know how many older people get nostalgic when they hear the music of the times when they were young (for example the Beatles or Pink Floyd) and they remember those times and if applicable, how they saw them live.

Well, one day we're all gonna have grey hair and wistfully think back of the times of our youth, and every time we hear a Coldplay song this period of our lives is gonna come back to us, and we will tell our children and grandchildren how we saw these legends live....

Exactly! And we'll show our photos, CDs and merchandise remembering the good old times. It’s so good we're getting old along with this great band :)

Sometimes when I feel emotional or fragile I avoid listening CP songs. I'm afraid that they make me cry, because their music touches me so deeply that I don't think my heart is going to handle those feelings when I'm down. I also avoid watching their videos when I'm upset. They bring me so many wonderful memories and give me so many good vibes... and I'm afraid of not going to live that again. I wish life would be as wonderful as a CP concert... I know all of this sounds crazy haha but I needed to talk about it. Have this ever happened to you?

Well, for me it's the opposite. When I feel emotionally down, I listen to Coldplay songs all the more. Like other people have said before, they are like a safe place to go to. Why would you think you would never live their concerts again ? I love watching my shaky self-made footage, also when I'm down, because it reminds me that even though life was difficult there were great moments such as this one.

Just discovered this:

And nice intro, LOL :)

Is that a blue and yellow viva thing??

Yeah, normally I use their music in that way too, but what I meant is that sometimes I have this weird sad feeling when I listen to certain songs... don't know exactly why!

The thing is I tend to be very pessimistic... but you're totally right. I should be grateful for the opportunity to have lived that experience.

Thanks for your kind words :)

Something similar happens to me when I'm worried about something. whenever I'm feeling that way there isn't a Coldplay song that would calm me down. I can’t even listen to them, maybe one of the reasons is that I don't want to associate the songs with those kind of moments. Also if I'm angry with someone I love I don't listen to them. But if I'm feeling sad or angry about something in general they are the ones who help me to go through those moments

A Head Full of Dreams is 1 year old already (where I am)! Sometimes I wonder how it's only been that long...

Yes, same in my place....despite the fact that I don't like this album musically, Happy Birthday to A Head Full Of Dreams - at least it gave us a beautiful artwork, a new tour, and its promotion gave me an opportunity to see Coldplay up close for the very first time ! :)

Hello guys .... I just found this video on youtube .... I think it's amazing!!!

Hi and welcome to the forum, it's enough if you post that video in one appropriate thread. By now you have posted your video in 19 (!) threads...I understand you want it to be seen, but in this way it's just gonna annoy people because it's like spam if you post it in every thread you find....

Hello everyone :) I haven't posted in ages but I do visit this place often and read everything you guys post.

Yesterday it was my birthday and my day wasn't the best,I was away from my family and I went out with friends but things didn't turn out that good.Well it was certainly better than last year, when I had spent my birthday at my grandfather's funeral.By the way,I wanted to buy my first coldplay merchandise for my birthday but I was disappointed when I read what you said about shipping costs :( Anyway, just wanted to express my love for Coldplay again and say how I love that I feel like they are always there for me and how there is always a song of theirs to fit my mood.Although I might cry after listening to some of their songs when I am sad, after a while I feel much better. I would also like to thank Coldplaying for being this great and welcoming with everyone and making me smile with your posts.Last but not least,Happy Birthday to A Head Full of Dreams :D I love that it is such a happy album, definitely one I like to listen when I am happy but also when I want to get in a more positive mood.

Hope you are all ok!
