Yep 30 seconds

Great great great !!!

Thank you for posting !

Sounds really interesting ;)

Ravrat, you're great...it was difficult to see that link!

Congrats!

Wow what a beautiful song!

Eno's hand is strong!

It's gorgeous! Yes, very U2-ish, and couldn't exist without Eno, but for anyone who remembers other attempts at a U2 song (the original live world turned upside down for example) this is way better.

whoa, i cant believe we have heard it before the release!!

NOW I KNOW why is just a b-side

i dont think it would fit with the album though

the "tablas" sounds fucked up.

this is just a preview of the song ok,but i'm not positive about this track.

this song has been ruined by eno

I don't think your positive about anything, Dejan...

I have posted a lot of negativity about Violet Hill recently, but hearing this has given me hope about VLV. It sounds very odd, but that is a good thing. It's a lot less mainstream than VH.

The vocals sound very 'Echo & the Bunnymen', as someone pointed out to me.

If each song on VLV is as different to each other as VH is to ASARY then the album should have a bit of something for everyone on there!

There is hope yet.

not bad the previous but need listen full song :)

I loved it!! This snippet really gave me chills!! Much more than Violet Hill at first listen!

you don't think, this is the problem

This place is starting to sound like the coldplay forum did...............

And that's not a good thing.

Do you happen to have that review??

Thanks

Sorry, not BBC, the Telegraph - I'm an idiot lol. It's one Ian posted in the Violet Hill reviews thread:

"If anything, the new Coldplay are brighter and more uplifting than ever. These are songs full of the kind of anthemic touches that will make people want to hold their mobile phones in the air".

I really like it. Definitely a newer sound for them -- clear U2 resemblance here, but most certainly not in a bad way.

Man, I feel so completely tortured with this wait for the new album! Coldplay B-sides have always been incredible, and this one has certainly left me wanting to hear the full song (and, of course, the album)... :D

LOVE BREE

ASARY its ok but violet hill is better.

Its ok, better once I hear the whole song though I think....:)

whoa!!Very different!!!This track has Eno written all over it!!It sounds pretty good!!Sounds like they are really experimenting on this track! Not a bad idea if they are going to really experiment with a track to release it as a b-side.CANT WAIT TO HEAR THE WHOLE THING NOW!!

Reminds me of Sting in a way.

A mix between U2 and Sting. Hard to judge over 30 seconds worth though.

That's more like it.

None of this simple, easy, uninspired Violet Hill stuff.

Hope the album has more of this.
