for the first time in the history of the world i don't like something coldplay have done. that video is poor. its like they made a holiday video and stuck it randomly over the song. it bears no relation to the music at all. i'm really gonna have to sit through this one and force myself to like it.

I like it, not such a big deal, I liked that they weren't playing the whole "biggest-band-on-earth-releasing-a-new-single-and-has-to-look-extremely-serious-and-cool-thing".

I liked the light a lot and the whole switch-thing when the "bang-bang-bang" comes! :thumbsup:

VERY jerky and choppy but I got the main tone and idea of it. I have a feeling when this is available in good quality, that it's gonna be amazing! Just a very fun video. Looks like something the Beatles or the Monkees would do.

Many thanks folks. I was dreading the whole because the snippet we had before wasn't very promising out of context, so I'm extremely pleased with this, in fact I think it's great!

 

Very interesting - quite fractured, bizarre and psychadelic. Evokes the Beatles yet again imo. I still think they may have missed a trick not making the epic story-driven vid that the song almost demands, but without taking that route they couldnn't really have bettered this.

I love the headbanging, its very Bohemian rhapsody. Well not really.

Felt much like a french impressionist film, bizarre and silly and then suddenly inappropriately serious. Loved it, personally. I cant help love watching Chris trudging and sinking helplessly into snow with a look on his face like a kitten being an intrepid explorer of snow for the first time.:D

I didn't actually like it, it's a little foolish and I think I'm gonna be a director haha
