Yeah I wasn't responding to you disliking them, you have the right to dislike teams so there's no problems there, it was just confusing as to why you disliked them before.

Adrian just scored a wonderful goal for Atletico Madrid against Valencia to effectively put them through, 5-2 on aggregate. I posted Falcao's goal in the first leg, this is just as good (Though personally I prefer Falcao's). I'll post it later when someone has it up.

I've flicked over to the Bilbao vs Sporting match which seems pretty exciting, 2-1 to Atletico, so that means 3-3 aggregate which could put this to extra time. It's also brought to attention the scorer of Sportings goal which is my new favourite footballer name, Ricky van Wolfswinkel.

Jose to get "fired" at the end of the season for daring to win the league and not the champions league.

Come on Munich, I will win a nice £100 if you win the final.

Its Atletico Madrid vs Athletic Bilbao in the final. Funny to see Bilbao's players crying tears of joy, leaping on eachother and going insane, yet if City or United had made the final, their reaction would be neutral, and they'd just want to get home.

What?

And without a doubt Champions League is the more impressive on paper, but from a general perception of how the teams progressed, beating Barca to the league seemed near impossible after doing everything they could last season to do so. It's an incredible achievement, Barca were looking like stamping their name on that honour for years to come.

i thought everybody knew the word "scheiße".. but i wouldnt look too deep into that neither.

i see that the example with the two clubs from manchester wasnt the best choice as well. i just wanted to suggest a strong rivalry of one club with another. i am with the 1. fc nuremberg^^ bayern is one of our worst 'enemies':p

Well for future reference, nobody knows that word unless they've taken a specific interest in German (Which I did for a short period).

I'm very familiar with the expression, though to agree with Reilly's point (most English speakers would be perplexed by the combination of 'shit' and 'munich' as we don't often used it as a verb). I was actually more confused by the timing and the :wacky: choice of smiley.

Just in time Spieler....

Remember to adjust the quality but it's still pretty poor, you get the idea though.

Why does David every once in a while casually dander in here and make some unfounded load of bollocks and never backs it up?

I couldn't find a thing about Jose getting sacked.

top you-tube comments: "After ruining Branislav Ivanovic's night, Geoff Shreeves is now walking around the Camp Nou telling children that Santa isn't real..."

"He later went into the Barca dressing room and informed every player individually that they would not be playing in the Champions League Final"

Pep's leaving Barca. Tito Vilanova, his assistant, will be next season's coach.

Oh man! Gotta feel for the guy, its unlikely he'll ever have another chance to play in a bigger game.

Pep's leaving Barca. Tito Vilanova, his assistant, will be next season's coach.

Not exactly shocked, Pep wasn't there for 2 full seasons before rumours started of him leaving for whatever reasons (This was on the back of winning a treble and dominating the current season).

I am however, a bit shocked Tito will be in place. Pep's lived Barcelona, he knows everything about that club from the bottom up, that's why they knew who they were dealing with him when installing him in such a huge job, despite his lack of experience. Tito doesn't quite have that same long term affiliation with Barca, he was there as a youngster and came back to assist Pep with the B-team a handful of years ago, they must trust that he has learned a lot with Pep.

Anyone with Stoke, Everton, Spurs, Newcastle, Chelsea, Bolton, Liverpool or Fulham fantasy team players and captains - fill your boots! They play twice this gameweek.

Southampton promoted to Prem

Playoffs are:

Cardiff v West Ham

Blackpool v Birmingham

Arsenal behind at Stoke City

be careful Crouchy you might find yourself on a busman's holiday in Poland this summer if you keep scoring goals

Holy shit, Bremen's Marko Marin is to transfer to Chelsea. I was expecting them to sell him, but I would have preferred any other club...

Was too busy to keep today so I just saw the full time Newcastle result, in the desperate hope we could win to keep up our challenge on 4th before 2 tough games against Chelsea and City, only to see we lost 4-0. I could only laugh.

Some other crazy results today as well, MOTD should be a good one.

i doubt he will be happy there... and chelsea will not be happy with him.

I doubt he'll get much game time, for starters. I expect they think they're getting a modric, but Marin's game is so fitted to the tight diamond that Bremen plays, that I'm not convinced he'll translate well into Chelsea's system.
