Yes he should but he won't, even if someone else took over, but I can't really think who would be good for Inter.

I don't either..hmmm... jose is definitely the chosen one for inter! i can't think of anyone else

He will come to Manchester City Eventully !

would he? I can see him possibly going to arsenal no?

mourinho wont go to man city until they start playing champions league football. when he went to chelsea they had just made the semis of the champions league and had come 2nd in the premier league. inter were italian champions when mourinho joined them. and real madrid of course have an incredible history behind them.

im not saying mourinho will never go to man city i just think he wants to see them win a few things before he moves there.

Personally at the moment I dont think City can win anything until we get rid of all the players we had before we had the money.

It seems they don´t have the expections of the likes of Toure Yaya, tevez etc... !

I have to also admit we need to get over of obsession of the local swampmire "utd "

We are putting everything on the table for that game, and if we loose, we wont do anything this season again !

I didn't realise the players on the bench had such a strong influence on a teams success.

Well something is not right... we should have 6 more points by now.. or at least 3..

I think you missed my point there. Diddums.

I didn't realise the players on the bench had such a strong influence on a teams success.

Its everyones fault.

The fans...

Me included. In expecting the world to come to us, and every team we play just to roll over and let us beat them.

The players

Some of the players may have just come to the club for the money and not the challange, no use them coming if their heart is not in it.

The Manager

Up to a point, he can get the team to play some really good football, but when things are going wrong he does not seem to motivate them. Also he needs to understand, you can not go to another country and work with others whom are from there and expect them to conform to your own belives of what you do in your spare time.

Having a go at Gareth Barry and CO for having a drink on their day off, 48 before a game is a little out of order if you ask me.

The owners

For constantly building everyones expextions up, and going around telling everyone we are going to be the best team in the world and we have more money than anyone .

Despite all of this, we should still be a great team in the coming years. We just have to wait, now I am saying this we are more than capable of finishing 4th. However we have the ability to finish higher and a good run of games and results in our favour we will be back with Chelsea we are only 3 points behind 2nd place with some of those teams all due to play each other sooner or later.

By next week we would have played the top 3 also spurs. Lets buckle down and concentrate and take all the remaining games as they come and take nothing for granted.

Reilly I am rather bored tonight so I thought for once I would have a half decent response.

Good post.

3-1 loss to a Polish team that probably costs a tiny fraction of yours- and 3 straight defeats. This weekend will be an interesting one, and potentially fatal for Mancini, away at West Brom which right now is one of the nastiest games you can have in the premier league.

Plus, Sheikh Mansour would look at a team like West Brom and think they aren't United or Chelsea, why the hell are we losing against them?

Ooooh if only.

Really? No, surely not.................................

Are you trying to suggest that some professional footballers are nothing more than mercenaries?

I like how naively he phrases it, that 'some' players 'may' just be there for the money.

Half the freaking time is only there for the money, Adebayor, Tevez, Silva, Toure, Santa Cruz, De Jong, Given, those players could easily make it in a team that could actually win something, do you really think they'd want be at City?

By the way I just looked at your squad list and yknow what, it's not even that crazily impressive. I'd actually prefer Spurs' team.

Look if your good enough ... you can earn it ... and entiled to it... totally agree with robbie savage on that one--- !

But they aren't good enough. Silva's a rising star but even Madrid wouldn't pay him £160k a week, as for Yaya Toure, that's just madness.

Robbie Savage compared Ronaldo arriving with great expectation at Madrid to the time when he arrived at Derby County as a 'big name' for them, do not even consider his opinions.

Well he could have said something genuinely silly like Manchester Utd or Inter Milan are shit then not explain why he had that opinion at all and ignore the post couldn't he?.

But they aren't good enough.

Judging by recent results, clearly not.

Gerrard earns obscene money too, of course, but at least he looks like he's 100% committed every time he plays.

This evening's match was a classic example.

That's an example, but right above your post there is a point that you should acknowledge, because otherwise when you ignore points that clearly contradict yours then people don't really respect your opinion. We'd all love to pick and choose acknowledging what opinions we have that are congratulated and which are disputed, but that's not how it works.

Anyway, my point was, 100% committed? Like I'm not being pedantic enough to say that you mean that for every single match, but Gerrard this season has looked un-inspired as ever to me. So to say that Gerrard is always a rock solid figure for Liverpool I have to disagree with, he does have the odd blips here and there, and right now is not the time to be saying he's been a rock solid figure.

One player I do think you can say has not gone through blips is Frank Lampard, while I don't think he's quite the force that Gerrard is, he plays at the top level of competition with world class players around him, and always stands out above the crowd. I don't necessarily like him but you have to respect someone who pulls out the goods season after season consistently (Same goes for Giggs and Scholes, but probably moreso- if Lampard carries on like this until his mid 30s then that would be another incredible achievement).

Red Bulls were knocked out of the playoffs tonight. Exciting, though I was somewhat hoping to see Henry against Donovan and Beckham in the final.

looking like a teriffic atmosphere at Spotland, FA1 starts here. Come on little United!

ESPN for those interested in a local FA Cup derby and possible shock!

Forgot that's on, watching now.
