January 14, 200917 yr It always seems like these things NEVER turn out the way I want them too. I guess I'm a bit of a pessimist :( I'm really hoping though. But if anyone of them has to beat Coldplay, I really hope it's Radiohead. My two fav. albums of the year are up for the big prize. Now if Elbow's 'Seldom Seen Kid' was nominated, I really don't know what I'd do!!!!
January 14, 200917 yr Just reading all these responses about Coldplay performing on the grammys makes me really nervous also.I love them but Chris usually has a problem performing and also his jumping around on stage that we all love just isnt appropriate for that crowd.They just dont get Chris... Someone said they will have to watch thru a pillow..i will also have to do that. We know that sometimes he says the craziest things while accepting an award. Dont the other guys have any control over him...:lol:

January 15, 200917 yr hmmm...I don't see Joe Satriani's "If I Could Fly on there" haha. Go figure. I think this is kinda of a round about attempt to show the world that they did NOT gain direct influence from that song for Viva La Vida. Works for me.

Some artists play their current single while others do not. If I remember correctly, a lot of the artists from last year played their nominated song and not something current. I'm not saying that they won't perform LIT II because they might. It really depends on the Grammys and what they want and what the band would like to perform. They'll discuss it and come up with a performance that will please both parties.
January 15, 200917 yr I have a feeling that they would do the same of 2002, sing a non-single song from the album, maybe it would 42 or Strawberry Swing. And if it has to be a single, I would love they play Life in Technicolor II ;)
