Chris were in such a great mood. That*s what I loved most. Oh and the normal version of The Scientist. The crowd was amazing and Chris' german was amazing as well(esp. when he said we should a "Lola Welle"...:blush:) Maybe I will write a review but I am not sure yet.... Ooooooooooooooooooh...how could I forget: I made it to front row (in front of the left side of the stage...so the main stage was some meters away, but that was ok..I could see everything anyways....without any heads in front of me...)...I have waited for this for 4 years now and finally I made it...:dance: I didn't have a camera with me, only my mobile phone. So I took some crappy videos...one of Viva La Vida where Chris is dancing in front of us at the end...I think I will upload this one... and maybe I will also upload some of my bad pics..... it is so strange....I am not excited anymore and I do not really feel like listening to Coldplay for the next few days...:uhoh: but it was a great show and The Scientist and LIT2 actually made me almost cry Squeeeeee for front row!! I'm so glad you made it Julia :dance: :D ahhh I forgot: the support acts were really good. Kilians are a really nice and likeable band and I really really enjoyed Howling Bells...good choice:D so here are some of my pics... ^my favourite That's a beautiful pic :cheesy: Oh btw, shortly before the show, they removed the curtain which fell down onto the band in Hannover while they started to play Violet Hill on Tuesday. The concert was great, I was front row, I met another nice Coldplayers and the best for me - I have Chris shirt!!! OMG, I have his shirt! Phil came to me during the show and gave me the shirt. He said, "It's from Chris for you". At the moment I'm the happiest woman in the world. And I swear, this shirt you'll never found at ebay ;) Now I wait for my train and tomorrow ............. dasdull Posted August 28, 2009 Share Posted August 28, 2009 Ok, here`s my revieuw: We arrived at the ESPRIT Arena at 4:15 pm, but didn`t queue up, because we had seats. There weren`t many people queuing up at that time though. At 5 pm, the gates were opened, and we were interviewed by a reporter of the WDR while we went inside, so we`ll possibly be on TV this evening! (Aktuelle Stunde at 6:50 pm today). Inside we bought a tour book and some VIVA cups(You were supposed to bring them back, but we didn't). Kilians started playing and they were quite good, but the Howling Bells were terrible. After they finished, the crew removed the curtain and prepared everything for Coldplay. Then Coldplay started playing. The sound was really good for an outdoor arena. But when Chris sang Violet Hill and Clocks, you could hear that he was a bit sick. Clocks sounded terrible, in fact. Chris' falsetto was great, but he had problems hitting the "normal" notes, and sang everything a bit to high! They also had technical problems during the first songs, but the crowd was great, and so we had a good time anyway. Even most people in the seats were standing, singing and clapping all the time. The show got better and better. During The hardest Part and the C-Stage songs Chris sounded great, and Viva la Vida and the Encore songs were amazing, they put so much energy into their songs. Chris was talking in German to us very often, and changed a lot of the lyrics. They even played a short 30 second song about the gig and düsseldorf after Til Kingdom come! Overall, it was a great concert and it was over way too fast. We left as soon as the Escapist was playing, because we wanted to get a copy of LeftRightLeftRightLeft, they were handed out at the exit.
