I got section 101 row 11 for this show and for sleep train I got PIT!!!

NICE!

I got section 101 row 13, but its near the aisle (meaning the center)!!

SO HAPPY!!!

I would've gotten pit tickets at the Sleep Train but it's too far away (when compared to how close Shoreline is) and I'm way too short to properly enjoy it. :laugh3:

I'm still stuck with these Sleep Train tickets though.

Just sell them on ebay. I think its a great idea that they waited this long to release them...i think it helps cut down on scalpers.

We went from lawn to Section 101!!! We are ecstatic!

I just bought two section 101 seats, row L. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh! :D

CONGRATS!!!

:D

I seriously still can't believe how awesome my seats are.

I find it odd that they waited this long to release those seats. I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Anyway, I'm still content with the seats I've got. ^_^

Ive been to the Shoreline before.I like it because the seats are elevated and you dont really have to worry too much about someone being infront of you.Unless you are really short or they are really tall.Un like in the arenas floor where you are just at one level on the floor and can be hard to see sometimes.

Wooo, cool! About how big is it? I've heard different things; one person said it's small enough that you have an excellent view from the lawn, and someone else said that it's a huge amphitheater, and it's often hard to see the stage unless you're really close.

I've been there twice. The first time I was in the lawn, but closer to seats than the limits of the lawn. The view was alright, all things considered, but still not great. The sound was the annoying thing. A lot of it seems to get lost in the outdoor setting.

The second time was actually for my first coldplay show. This time I was in the 200 section of seats. The view was pretty decent, especially as we were at an angle, and then Chris took a jog up to our area :D. The sound was still just so so but its a nice venue, in that its location means it never gets too awful hot or anything.

hurry over to livenation, and you can grab some very nice singles : )

can grab a pair or 4 tixs in row d in 101 or a single in row b...still available...as of 5:51 pm

Oh fuck I really really want those, but I already bought tickets in Section 101 row O. Do you think it's worth it to sell those tickets and try and buy Section 103 row D instead? The seats are a lot better, but either way I'll be in section 100. I don't know if it's worth the effort of selling these tickets, getting the money back, and buying new ones

Plus I don't think I have time :bigcry:

Oh and I heard from someone that if you have section 100 tickets, you can pretty much go anywhere in section 100. Has anyone experienced this? How is the security at shoreline? At some concerts I've found if you try moving towards the stage during the show you'll get caught, but at others the security doesn't seem to notice/care. Has anyone tried that at Shoreline?

Shoreline is pretty strict about moving closer and with cameras too as I experienced everytime I went. I think they just want to have control over the crowd so nothing gets out of hand. If you're walking down the aisle, you will be seen. I went for closer seats as my vision is lacking so at least I will see more than blurs on the stage.

As for reselling tickets, it's pretty easy, you can either meet the person at an starbucks, etc or do it through paypal and ship. It just depends if being closer to the stage is a priority for you or not. It looks like the good seats are still available and I last checked at 7:05 pm

My tix are for Section 203 , Row L , Seat # 1 , and Section 201 , Row P , Seat # 39, both appear to be aisle seats, just off the center section, so I'm hoping they'll be good seats.

I thought about going to the show the next day at Sleeptrain, but would like to find one or more to share the ride with. When I checked a couple of weeks ago, there were still decent seats available, but don't know about now. I don't know how so many people got 100 section seats. Every time I checked, they were sold out, and I checked for weeks.

I find it odd that they waited this long to release those seats. I'm sure I'm not the only one.

Yeah, I see that there are still a few 100s seats available. I need to start reading this forum since apparently they started releasing them in early April. There are still a few 100s seats available, but over to the sides and back. That explains why I saw a someone selling her 200s seats on Craigslist at face value.

I'm a short guy, so the pit would not work for me either. For Sleeptrain in Marysville, the "Floor" tickets are shown as General Admission, and there is a very large number, about half of the total still available.

It is really strange that they waited this long to sell them. My guess is that they wanted to increase the sales of the less desireable seats first. Also, I'm sure that they give the band and sponsors first grab at the front seats. As far as I know, Coldplay's fan club is given no special priviledges, but I'm sure some seats are reserved for some of their favorites, like Oxfam volunteers.

Shoreline is showing all the reserved seats as sold out again. The newly opened seats didn't last long! I feel like I'm up in the stratosphere (201, row P), compared to you in 101, row 11! Lucky you to find them a few days ago!

I've been in the 200's there before and the view really isn't that bad at all.

I live right next to Berkeley.

I've never been to Mountain View, so does anyone know what time I should leave home if I want to get there around 6 PM? (keep in mind it'll be a Monday night.)

I don't know the answer to your question, but you could look on Google Mapquest driving directions.

I did not want to drive because it will probably be very crowded, at least after the show. Several thousand cars will be leaving at once. I'm thinking of taking public transit there.

I read that there is bus service to the Shoreline Amphitheatre from the Fremont Bart Station. If I go early enough, it should be fine. Later, it will probably be packed on the day of the concert.

There must also be some way to go by CalTrain, probably to Mtn. View and then should be a bus from there to Shoreline. I have friends going who can probably drop me off on the way back at a Bart station. For Marysville, I'd plan on driving and might spend the night somewhere up there.

I've been trying to research a way to get there by CalTrain, but it doesn't seem to run past 11 PM on weekdays, so I don't know how I'd get back home. But to get there, I found there's a public bus you can take from the CalTrain station in Mountain View and straight to the Shoreline.

has the ticket already sold out? im trying to find the ticket in the website but my sister said that it has been sold out.
