May 4, 200917 yr Transportation for Concert I've been trying to research a way to get there by CalTrain, but it doesn't seem to run past 11 PM on weekdays, so I don't know how I'd get back home. But to get there, I found there's a public bus you can take from the CalTrain station in Mountain View and straight to the Shoreline. Maybe someone can tell us how late the concerts usually go. I heard that Coldplay actually starts to sing (at least for their recent shows in Australia) at about 9 PM, after one or more opening acts. The other thing to remember is that the last Bart Train leaves Millbrae, I think at midnight. To get to Berkeley, probably have to transfer to the Richmond line at that late hour. You say that CalTrain runs until 11, but I would guess the concert might go until 10:30-11:00. Would a veteran Coldplay concert fan please advise how late the show is expected to go? I think this is why most people drive! Jim
May 4, 200917 yr Craigslist has the ticket already sold out? im trying to find the ticket in the website but my sister said that it has been sold out. :confused: Reserved seats were sold out last I checked, but lawn was still available. Also, you might check Craigslist. I think this is why most people drive! Jim I went to the San Jose show last July, and Coldplay started playing at about 9:15. The concert ended at just after 11, if I remember correctly. Plus there's about a 20 minute bus ride from Shoreline to the CalTrain station... so I don't think that would work. By the time one reached the station it would be almost midnight, and then there will be traffic, too... :confused:

May 23, 200917 yr I was shocked that this show is now completely sold out!!! :o I am sure that San Franciscans love Coldplay, one my friends is gonna be in the lawn as well. She lives outside of the US, and she has been waiting for Coldplay since 1998. :nice:

They are quite good :) A lot of people say they aren't because they're pretty far back, but the theater is small enough that even the lawn seats have a really good view of the stage!

How could I ever express how much their music has meant to me, how their music brings a tear to my eye? The words would fail to express it. Just like, I would be excited if they played their acoustic set near me but it would also be frustrating because I still could not communicate to them, how deeply their music has moved me. I feel as if I would die if I met them.
