This vid is of Chris' "evil" laugh and The Scientist. I apologize for the poor quality, but hopefully, you'll get the idea. It was hilarious.

:laugh3::laugh3::laugh3: That evil laugh really is hilarious!!!!

I'm happy to hear you had fun!

Thanks for the video and I'm looking forward to hear more from your experiences.

Two cameras sounds gooooood!! :stunned:

Wow. so the pictures I took came out horribly. Makes me realize how badly I need a new camera. Here are a few...

you can check out the rest of my flikr photostream, too...

I didn't take that many... mainly focused on video. My husband had the better camera, and he got over 100 photos, so those should be good. Unfortunately, we have to wait for this weekend to upload them. I'll also try to write my review later tonight!

Those vids are great ! You were really close when Chris ran for VLV !

And I'm so jealous that they played Trouble, one of my fav songs ever :wacky:

Why did they play it only one time ?

Chris messed up the lyrics and cut the song short saying "that's enough of that!" so I wasn't too surprised they went back to The Hardest Part in Houston the next night. If someone would get his ass down to the venue early and do some soundchecking, things like this wouldn't have to happen. hint hint.

Hey Everyone!

Thanks for all the awesome pics and vids!!

Angie your video looks incredible. I'm jealous. It was great to meet you and your costume was FANTASTIC! :nice:

MrMan I'm so glad you had fun in the pit... I was crunched in the throng and had a little trouble seeing (and breathing at times!), but met some cool people and had fun.

Allegra-congrats on completing mission Cowboy hat!! That's awesome! I noticed you wearing the hat when I got into the pit and laughed when I saw Guy walking off stage with it! :)

This was the 2nd show for me on this tour and I had a really great time. Like I said, my husband and I were in the pit, about 4 people back from the stage, between Chris and Guy. The guys seemed to be in great form. Chris' voice was AMAZING. I thought he sounded better than he had in San Antonio last month. I had a great view of Guy, who was swaying around a bit, but didn't do much moving besides that. I did see a couple of smiles from him, though. Will was pounding away on those drums. My husband loves playing Rock Band and he was fascinated watching Will pound away all night. Chris of course, was a crazy bundle of energy and it was really tough to get a good pic of him. He was playful during the show, talking about being attacked by the balloons during Yellow, and doing his hilarious "evil" laugh right before The Scientist. Unfortunately, I barely got to see Jonny at all, as my view of him was completely blocked. :(

The setlist of course, was the same, so I couldn't believe it when Chris said, "I'm just going to change the setlist here... I'll do this song, then the other and the other..." (or something like that :P). When he launched into Trouble I nearly had a heart attack. Of course, being in the pit, I couldn't see the b-stage at all, so I had to rely on the video screens. It was gorgeous while it lasted. He forgot the lyrics, "....hmm..hmm..hmm...in my little bubble" and ended it a bit short, but I loved it. I paid particular attention to 42 and Cemeteries of London that night, as I somehow had blocked them out from the SA concert. Really stellar, both of them. Strawberry Swing was just GORGEOUS. I love the little guitar "duet" Chris and Jonny do at the end... and watching Will and Guy lead the claps at the beginning and Chris guitar hanging on his back.

The crowd around me was a mixed bag... didn't seem to be too much singing or dancing going on on my side (aside from me :D) but people did seem into it. I thought the Dallas audience did a better job singing along and doing the viva chant than the audience in SA, but that might have just been where I was.

As MrMan mentioned, Chris threw glow sticks out into the audience during Lost, and I thought that was a really cool touch. My husband had the better of our two cameras and took a lot of pics, so I'll be uploading those this weekend. I've done the ones I took with my camera (flikr link posted earlier in thread) and I'll post some youtube videos, too. Getting out of the venue (and getting LRLRL) was awful. They did a very poor job of organizing that, but we got it and were happy. :)

All in all, a really fabulous show.

Here's LIJ and Lost. Guy's bass pretty much killed the sound on these and they're nowhere near high quality and a little shaky. sorry. :D Hope you enjoy anyway!

I've got a few more videos I'll probably be uploading over the next couple of days or so.

Wow! Thanks everyone for sharing their pics and vids! Those are awesome! I can see myself in a few of them.

I didn't bring my camera, but my friend did. She just flew back home this afternoon, so it will be a little while before I can see hers and see if she's willing to share.

;)

Oh, and I'm glad y'all liked the :cowboy: hat story. I'm just wondering where it is now!

*still giddy as a school girl*

It's probably still on Guy's head somewhere. I could really see his face as he turned to walk off stage and he looked very amused....and pretty comfortable wearing it! :D

I'm still surprised they walked off stage with it! Back in November at the AAC, Chris threw a hat back that was given to him. I really thought he would wear it and throw it back like he did last time.

It was great though. Everyone around me looked at me at the same time and said "They took your hat!" They were excited for me too! It was awesome! And then I was like "OMG! I can't believe they took my hat! WHOO HOOO!"

Best moment ever!

I was standing right behind you! That was awesome. I'm still working on getting my vids uploaded....YouTube is being annoying. I should have a couple of them up today and my pics for sure.

Haha yes ! Someone is being lazy

That's a shame, this song is so beautiful ! Chris, work that a bit please:whip:

I can't wait to see them!!!

I hope I wasn't too annoying.

And thanks for not crushing me!

I've been in GA for U2 right in front of Bono...let's just say it wasn't pretty...the pushing...the crushing. Well, it doesn't help when Bono actually reaches out to hold hands/kisses hands with people at the rail. Not sure if I'll ever do that again. This by far was the best GA experience I've ever had. It was like everyone was on their best behavior. Everyone was super nice!

Nope.

Chris picked it up and put it on Guy's head. Guy walked off the stage with it on.

Just go back a few pages in the thread and you'll see my story, and also someone took a pic of him walking off with the hat on.

I really made it for Chris to wear, but I'm super OK with it if Guy wants it. My intention was that it was a gift. I didn't want it back.

Aww, thanks! Yeah I know, it was great! The Pit was so fun since you could easily move around and I went over to that side when they left for B-Stage and was right up against the railing. It was just me and maybe three other people :laugh3: It was sort of odd everyone didn't head over there knowing he had to come back, but oh well, it was good for me!

I'm wondering if someone requested 'Trouble' at a meet-and-greet or something? But, like Angie said, he cut it short and guess he didn't practice. It was much longer than I though it was going to be though. I thought he might just play a bit and then do 'The Hardest Part' but he didn't. I liked it when he did the first part of 'I Kissed a Girl' I wish I got in on video since it was funny, but super quick!

Congrats again! I loved that part of the show :)

That's right! I couldn't remember who took them. Thank you so much for getting and sharing those shots!

Wish I could have met up with you while in the PIT, but I was a little stuck for a while at the rail. You know, first in, last out. By the time I was free, everybody was gone. I guess I should have posted a pic of myself before the show. Ooops. Oh well. Hope we can meetup next time!

Supposedly my friend has a pic of us standing beside each other at the rail taken by the tall bouncer. I'll share as soon as I get it.
