October 7, 200916 yr My note to [email protected] Here's my note to [email protected]: I’d very much like to see Coldplay return to Tampa to play the show that was originally scheduled for August 9, 2009. Many fans traveled long distances, hoping to see Coldplay at their last show of the North American leg of the tour, at great trouble and expense to find out the concert had been canceled, after it was too late to avoid the wasted travel and expenses. I especially feel for the large number of fans who were expecting to see Coldplay in concert for the first time in Tampa, and missed the chance. The cancelation hurts them most of all because they have been denied the chance of experiencing the magic that is a Coldplay concert. I saw you at the Shoreline and Wheatland, California, 7/13 and 7/14/09, and the latter was the best night of my life. Our seats were front and center, right behind the pit! It was an unforgettable night of magic and wonder. It would mean a huge amount to us fans for Coldplay to return to Tampa to play the show that we never got to see. I myself have a round trip ticket voucher that is waiting to be used for this purpose. Please consider adding a jog up to Tampa during your Latin American tour! ....also I joined the Facebook group!

Ha, now you're old friends and not-friends will be crawling out of the woodwork - lol. My husband is still mad at me for creating a page for him, lol, and just to spite me, he never checks it, so I'm the one friending his friends from high school and college. It's cold, looks like it's going to rain today, and my 14 year old son is home with a fever...I need to bake cookies or something, but it's these days that make it way too easy to sit and play facebook games all day. My cleaning lady is coming today, though, so I need to tidy for her - yeah yeah, I need to clean for the cleaning lady, but if I wash the all the sheets, she'll remake the beds... And I'm blasting my Coldplay Irvine bootleg - It's my favorite live version, hm, wonder why...and I hope we get a Tampa bootleg sometime!

That's practically directly across the Gulf of Mexico from Florida. I can think of two logical options for courses they would take. The first would be go straight to Tampa from Monterrey. Therefore it would make sense for the show to be Saturday the 13th or Sunday the 14th. If they add more Latin America dates, such as a Bahamas show, they might stick it right after Monterrey (and then Tampa right after), making the show possible Tuesday or Wednesday. If they were to add more than a few dates, it would make sense to stick them towards the beginning as they're making a beeline north. So I'd expect the 13th or 14th. The 13th would be nice because I wouldn't have to miss school, but that's also the date of the March SATs *facepalm* (which I would take in January if it comes down to it haha). Any other opinions on that :D?

Any other opinions on that :D? Jeff, I think that's a great idea for Coldplay to add the Tampa show adjacent to the Monterey show since they will be close to Tampa then. They traveled much further between many of their gigs in the recent N.A. tour, so it should seem relatively easy for them to do that. It's probably worth mentioning this in our e-mails to [email protected]. I am aware that Chris is generally informed of the e-mails sent to the band. I know you are a true die-hard Coldplay fan to miss your SATs and reschedule them later to see the concert! I would do the same. For me, the timing and circumstances surrounding the shows I attended worked like a charm. I think there was some Coldplay magic at work for me! :love:

In PM'ing them, ask them to tell as many people as they know to do the same. A large number of people responding will make the most impact. Any suggestions on how to divvy up the work? Any volunteers? I can do my part on the weekend.
