Really you guys, don't you realize how UNcool this is???

What? Rich people spend their money on what they like? I personally don't see a problem.

Exactly. Isn't doing anyone any harm.

Maybe they're planning on extending their familly, or just want more space, but I don't see the problem.

How is it uncool ?.......there's nothing wrong with building a big house .....and we don't even know if it's true anyways

Are you kidding?

Chris' (and Coldplay's really) whole schtick was supposed to be "oooh be good to the environment, don't take more than you need wheee" and they've gone and made this extravagant palace, almost for basically no reason. :/

And here we are talking about how Coldplay are going to share rooms! pshaw.

Extending a house is doing a helluva lot less damage to the enivorment than chartering a private jet to take them everywhere and they've been doing that for years ;)

even if he'd buy a big big house and a big plane he still does more than any of us because if he talks about it, lots of people will listen... I think that's good enough

I think houses are a good way to spend money

can you really put 33 rooms? It doesn't seem THAT big.Big but not for 33 rooms.

Did they seriously take a picture of the house under construction? It's easy to find for little stalkers

I'll go to london one day and pretend like i am a lost orphan with no where to stay, and maybe chris will lend me a room.

;)

It isn't about the environmental impact!!

It's about how wastefull it is! Nobody needs a house that big. Hell I couldn't even live in a house that big.

I guess I'm just disappointed Chris is aparently exactly the same as all the other celebs out there.

blarghhhh

Maybe they'll have a panic room - that's very hollywood!

It's not his job to save the world all on his own, he already does more than a lot of people in his position. He's building a nice home for his family out of a house that was already there anyway- do you think the house had no tennants before, used no electricity or water? It's not like he's building from scratch on sacred land or turfing people out of a homeless shelter.

I'd rather he spends his money on property than drugs and the renovations are going to mean employing a lot of people, and the taxes are going to help a lot of people.

Well said, you articulated that far better than I could have.

Man I'm jealous... but 33 rooms IS a bit ridiculous. :P

:uhoh: I'm not gonna hurt them or anything... :sneaky:

If I could, I would do that. I don't think it's big deal.

If you look at the actual article, look how they spelled Chris's name in the caption of the picture of Chris and Gwyneth!
