Oh the environmental hypocrisy of Chris, I think a lot my have been Gweneth's doing, but none the less Chris probably approved it. Celebrities have the money to do whatever and they do use that.

As long as he didn't build a nuclear power plant I'm fine with it.:P

I thought about that, but then I said to myself, "is London really all that overcast?" Guess I was wrong! Thanks for the clarification. Sounds like energy in the greater British Isles will be coming from wave and tidal power, wind and biomass then?? (or maybe they can put up some solar panels in Spain, and run a wire through the chunnel?:sunny:)..

So now I know why the English papers always highlights "sunny destinations"!;)

It was an amazing place to live, but I was cold the whole time! :laugh3: I got great photos because there were no shadows, lol.

I sure hope they put the money into insulation, proper moisture control, top-of-the line air handling equipment, and a lot of solar panels! How would it look if Chris and Gwen went through all the trouble to help out people in Africa's poorest places, and then contribute to global warming??;) Maybe they could compete with Ed Begley's place in sunny Cal-e-forn-I-A?

Helping Africa and "fighting global warming" are two completely separate issues.

i think that he's done more good for the environment in the positive than will be taken away by the negative of a huge house.

Solar panels? In London? When we lived in London, I think we had something like 20 sunny days over the course of a year. Coming from sunny Southern Cal-e-forn-I-A, this sun-loving beach bum about died. But yeah, on the energy efficient "green" home.

I want to go away to college on the east coast in a few years and maybe move to London for a year as well but I don't know if I'll survive. If it's really only sunny 20 days a year that's really unfortunate for me because I love the sun.

Trust me, it will never get as warm as Fontana! But you should go, if you can. London is an amazing place and I would love to go back again. And this time, I have a couple of uh, new places in Camden to check out. You Wembley-goers can report back on the progress.

Yeah I know I don't think it'll ever be 100 degrees over there...I think I will go though for the experience.

How so? To me, they are inter-related, as climate change predictions show an increase in dryer weather for Africa's semi-arid regions - causing more problems in already drought-stricken sub-Saharan Africa. Plus, ocean currents may be affected, changing the fishing off the coasts, and changing water pH and temperature will affect the reefs, and hence coastal fisheries.

Yes, but he's more into the whole fair trade deal, rather than starvation issues.

No shit Lore. I'm gonna go up and knock on their door with my suitcase in hand and say "Which room is mine? I know I paid for something in this bloody house! Now Gwennie, get in that kitchen and make a samwich! "

Please, I want to be there when you do it, to witness and report back to Coldplaying.com :D :P :laugh3:

I actually don't think it's enough. Come on Chris, you're richer than that. Buy an island or something. Boo Chris.

Nah, he doesn't need to do that...can't he just call Richard Branson and borrow his island?

Probably, but I want him to have his own. For music videos and stuff.

and a small closet for Chris's wardrobe

a REALLY small closet. like a sock drawer.

Probably, but I want him to have his own. For music videos and stuff.

But that would be wasteful. Unless of course he bought a used island, then he wouldn't have to develop it. Better I think, to borrow an already-developed island. Running power and fresh water can be a real bitch, and even more so of he has to build a landing strip .

Idc if it's wasteful he should gopher it.

33 rooms does sound a bit excessive. But whatever, it's their money. I don't care either way, lol.

I saw their house this summer, and the works at the house next to theirs had already begun.

It's not that huge at all, and I can't imagine there being 33 rooms.

Who cares? It's his money.

And with that, my crits are silenced.

You know, something like this should squash any current separation/divorce rumors...you don't undergo a project this massive if you are not planning on staying together...sorry Chrissy-girls.

Or preparing for possible new crotchfruits running around :lol::lol:

:stunned: wow 33 rooms!

Will and Guy can move in too and there's still plenty of room!

All of Coldplay living in ONE (huge) house with their families!! That is the end of

C O L D play - I mean that it must get really hot in the house.

Now they must change the name into COOLPLAY! ;)

Maybe they're planning to open a hotel for Coldplayers........................

Gwyneth Paltrow: For her, this will be just one home among many

oh yeah...who would live in a 33 rooms house? :dozey:

she was jocking,wasnt she?

shes just crazy, how could chris marry her?

And with that, my crits are silenced.
