September 24, 200916 yr So far, we know: The album will reflect the band's close bond, and possibly have a story to go with it. Possible Tracks 1. Christmas Lights 2. Wedding Bells 3. Lhuna (featuring Kylie Minogue) 4. Anything not heard yet from the Viva era (Famous Old Painters, anyone?) or hasn't recieved the Will Champion seal of disapproval From the South Bank Show: 1000 - 1 (Ballad of ----) Cartoon Head Cartoon Heart Drunks and Guns Love In A Lethal Dose Spanish Rain Possible Album Titles: just 'Coldplay' Winter Lights
September 24, 200916 yr Chris Martin. LOLZ.. um. No Viva leftovers. I mean, I don't think they'd like to go back and put old stuff.
September 24, 200916 yr on the southbank show it showed these titles on some list 1000 - 1 (Ballad of ----) Cartoon Head Cartoon Heart Christmas Lights Drunks and Guns Love In A Lethal Dose Spanish Rain Wedding Bells
September 24, 200916 yr Author Thanks for the help. Any more tidbits will be added. Perhaps they will return to their roots ala Parachutes, thanks to the bit of Wedding Bells we've heard.

Lhuna won't be on there either.
September 24, 200916 yr They're not going to put Lhuna on there. They probably are never going to finish Wedding Bells, Chris just sang it as an example. Also probably not putting Christmas Lights on an album, I think. The ones they were thinking about on the South Bank show may make it, possibly, but again, I wouldn't count on it, from what I hear they churn out a new song basically every couple days. I think speculation at this point is kind of silly.
September 24, 200916 yr Author Anybody have the entirety of the South Bank Show on Youtube in one piece?
September 24, 200916 yr I made two guesses for album tittle in the past; Winter Nights and Winter lights :p
September 24, 200916 yr Shouldn't a Christmas song be a separate release? And also, are you sure that's the album theme? :\
September 24, 200916 yr on the southbank show it showed these titles on some list 1000 - 1 (Ballad of ----) Cartoon Head Cartoon Heart Christmas Lights Drunks and Guns Love In A Lethal Dose Spanish Rain Wedding Bells Spanish Rain... hmm that's an interesting name.
September 24, 200916 yr Hey Joshua, did you like Wedding Bells? I liked it a lot, how about you? They're not going to put Lhuna on there. September 24, 200916 yr I liked it a lot, how about you? Agreed on all points. I really enjoyed it. Very heartfelt compared to the Viva songs. I just hope songs like that make it through.

That's the first time I have attempted to use that phrase. And it will definitely be the last. Anyway, 'Love In A Lethal Dose'? Seems a little My Chemical Romance-esque.

September 24, 200916 yr It's way too soon to predict if any of those song will made it through....As for Lhuna, they already release it, so not on LP5.
September 24, 200916 yr Im expecting the next albumn to have alot more "rock" and "hip hop" sound, Not in a bad way though, I trust Coldplay and Eno to come out with something brilliant
September 24, 200916 yr I'm sure they'll release Christmas Lights as a Christmas song during the Christmas period on their website!! there's always a Christmas thing--->Christmas messages, special performances,....this year they'll give us Christmas Lights as a free download..I'm sure!! :D
September 24, 200916 yr I spotted a title on the whiteboard... shortly after Chris talking about Eno 'nudging' him out of the band, and the DJ talking about them being conscientious... Guy is swaying his head to a song, and in the background you can see: "If I Ever Fall In Love Again" As well as "Cartoon Heart" and "Love In A Lethal Dose"
September 24, 200916 yr The band would never release a self-titled studio LP... I also believe that no more than 2 or 3 of these mentioned songs have a chance at making it onto the final album. These are still the very, very early stages. ;)
