And/Or did anyone else from the United States win any of the other "textile" auction items? E.G. the ones previously dispatched like the football jerseys, or the lot with the wellies & band T-shirt? If so, please, please, please PM me. My items are still with US Customs because Guy's Viva jacket is obviously a textile and therefore puts my stuff into another category of import. I'm not an "officially" registered importer, nor a business, corporation or nonprofit -- things are not exactly working out in my favor at the moment so any advice would be greatly appreciated. :anxious: That doesn't sound good. :(
May 8, 201016 yr Okay, so my guitar finally made it out of customs limbo and was delivered today! I have to say, it is incredibly surreal... I look at it and it still doesn't quite register... Here are a few quick pics - will take better ones over the weekend. There were some "Lovers in Japan" butterflies neatly folded and inserted into the guitar (see before above and after below). I can't tell you how cool this guitar is - it's unbelievable... And it has a nameplate on the back ("BLACKY")! Jason

May 8, 201016 yr It really does look fantastic. Thoroughly vibed indeed. Love the flight case too. What do you intend to with it if I may ask. Will you put in on display, will you use it? I plan to have a display case made - I just wanted to get it in hand first to be fully inspired... I don't play, and since it is an important artifact, I would rather just work to preserve it in its current state. I also still plan to make a website about "Blacky", and also include photos and anecdotes from other auction winners, should they be interested. The flight case is really awesome. One of the latches is totally busted (it was taped shut), but this thing has had quite a journey! Jason
