February 22, 201016 yr Seems like all you guys care about is whether or not the Canadian fans booed or not? Can we talk about the actual game? Despite losing I think Canada actually played a better game because they had a hell of a lot more shots on goal, better defense and just looked sharper. USA defiantly held the puck in their end of the ice way to long and had I think less then 20 shots on goal at the end of the game.
February 22, 201016 yr Morris (canadian vice-skip): "These guys are good, if they got a couple of rolls this week, they could've been 4 and 3"

I've only talked about the game :P There were so many people in my basement watching the game I couldn't tell what the crowd was doing.

But yeah we outshot you guys 2 to 1. The problem is that 2 of the first 4 shots on our goal went in. Whether by luck or negligence is something that will be debated for a long time to come. really fantastic hockey game. And to dig the knife in a little deeper, China just beat your women's curling team.I caught the end of that. It was a good game. If they hadn't wrecked the last stone, who knows what might have happened. But that's curling. I don't know, maybe it's just me. I just felt like it was an awkward situation. For all the big talk before the game, they were really good about it. Appreciated.
February 22, 201016 yr Juliaaaaaaaaaaaaa ... another silver medal. :awesome: whaaaaaa....whaaaaat?....OMG....yayyyyyyy...

From what I could tell with the crowd you Canadians have very loyal fans, when we were beating you guys down in the 3rd (4-2) I could still hear some "lets go Canada" chants. All the fans stayed until the end. The only goal that really was luck was the one where Martin Brodeur fell on his ass for about 10 seconds until we finally batted it in. I'm also glad we won because I'm personally not to much of a fan of Sidney Crosby.... I'd take Alex Ovechkin over "Sid the Kid" any day.
February 23, 201016 yr Seems like all you guys care about is whether or not the Canadian fans booed or not? Can we talk about the actual game? What. Incase you didn't notice, I'm the only one who mentioned booing.

February 23, 201016 yr Ahhh Virtue and Moir just gave an exquisite performance! With an incredible score.
February 23, 201016 yr Has any one mentioned that in the USA v Canada hockey game, Miller made 42 saves. .......................Miller ................42 ..................Miller is roadie #42 .................:P
February 23, 201016 yr ^so THAT'S what he does when Coldplay's not touring! :P the hockey game was incredible. I was actually hoping for Canada to win (it being their home turf, and all) but by the end, I was excited for Team USA. I don't even watch hockey- ever- and I was completely enthralled. I'm looking forward to watching more! So did Moir and Virtue take the gold? I haven't had a chance to watch it yet, but if they did, that's awesome!
February 23, 201016 yr I slept on my sofa all night falling asleep to the ice dance competition in figure skating. When I woke up ½ hour ago Danish television once again showed the two pairs winning Silver and GOLD - USA against CANADA. Congratulations to GOLD-winning CANADA and silver-winning United States. :)
February 23, 201016 yr And now for the real games, the elimination games. Thank god USA has a bye they need it.

February 23, 201016 yr So did Moir and Virtue take the gold? I haven't had a chance to watch it yet, but if they did, that's awesome!Yep, the Americans Davis and White got the (very deserved) silver. I don't think I've ever seen such a huggy pair of rivals on a podium. (They train together)
February 23, 201016 yr Ice dancing is very interesting. The costumes, the hugging. My favourite Brian Williams quote of the night "They're pretty much naked out there" It was in reference to the fact there aren't many coaches etc around/on the ice when they are performing. I thought it was referring to their costumes :P
February 23, 201016 yr Virtue and Moir skated so beautifully. I was so happy for them, they looked beyond excited during the medal ceremony. :nice: Also, Tessa is gorgeous.
