January 18, 201016 yr The nominations for this year's BRIT Awards have been announced at a ceremony in London tonight (January 18). And among the finalists for the industry bash are Coldplay with a classic album award. As this is officially the BRITs' 30th anniversary, a special award is going to the Best British Album of the last three decades, with Coldplay, Keane, Oasis, The Verve and Travis all in the running. Here's Anchorman with the details from Coldplay.com: Good evening. We're very pleased to report that A Rush Of Blood To The Head has been nominated for the Best British Album of 30 Years at the 2010 Brit Awards. It's one of 10 albums which were decided by the sales figures of previous winners of the Best British Album award - won by A Rush Of Blood To The Head in 2003. The award will go to the winner of a public vote - we'll give you a link to that when it goes live. For more info, see http://www.brits.co.uk.
