You know, it's funny... I was just watching the LiT puppets video this morning, and commented to myself at the end during the guitar-smashing-into-the-amps scene how funny it was because that is so something that the boys would NEVER do.

Obviously it was planned, becuase the roadie was running out to give him another one right before he smashed it.

 

It must have been rather cathartic for him.

err, dont think it was planned...id imagine roadies would have all the instruments ready anyways for a quick song transition...plus it looks to me like his string broke which is why he had to switch..dont see why he had to smash his whole guitar up though just cause i string broke

i guess his case is as others, when the sound is not fine they simply throw/smash it. :uhoh:

(i tried to find a vid here, which placebo's bassist case, when he smash his flying v :cry: cause it was failing in sound)

There was another video where Chris semi-smashed that one guitar he used during "Yellow" on the Twisted Logic tour. That took me a bit by surprise.
