Phil came over and talked to us for a while, a good while. We talked about the boat and he answered some Coldplay-related questions for us, like how he came up with the name “Politik” (he was impressed we knew that he was the one that did: it’s from Karl Marx’s realpolitik, which isn’t exactly hard to work out).

 

It was me who asked him about Politik, I just remembered Chris saying something about it in an interview ages ago. and when he was like 'Wow, you really know your stuff' I thought 'You'd go nuts if you met the others off the board!' Lol. but he was a nice guy, and I got to shake his hand, which was nifty.

So my mom is friends with a lot of security guys that work arenas in ny-nj area.

And they just said that they were told that Coldplay will be coming to the Red Bull Arena, in newark nj, around JUNE!

He knows I'm a huge fan.

We should all be looking forward to a big summer tour hopefully, and an album out by this spring!!!!!

Actually, LongLiveLife spoke to some peoples on the boat and they said touring should begin in June. So yeah, we should be looking out for a Coldplay summer!!! :D

I'm not totally sure about the tour dates being released on Monday, but guys it would make sense for the tour to start around June. All the signs are pointing to the album being near completion, so if you think about it it's probably going to come out some time in the first half of next year.

actually the video its not a big deal - i don't think it has any kind of spoiler strictly speaking...it won't harm you..

I loved the video of you guys singing, I almost got chills. It reminded me of walking through a tunnel on the way home from their concert in Toronto in 2009 and everyone starting singing the wohohohooh part. It's great to be a part of that kind of atmosphere.
