December 2, 201015 yr It took me a while to warm to it...the first time I heard it was on the boat, which was a really kind of awkward situation, I just remember laughing at the "took my feet to Oxford Street" line. :P Then we kept hearing the wooooaaaahhhh bit over and over. But since I've been listening to it yesterday I love it, it's a beautiful Christmas song.

December 2, 201015 yr I particularly like Up above candles on air flicker Oh they flicker and they float But I'm up here holding on To all those chandeliers of hope Like some drunken Elvis singing I go singing out of tune Saying how I always loved you darling And I always will because it's so catchy
December 2, 201015 yr  Mich I think it's more the idea of going to Oxford Street to right a wrong in a relationship that gets me more than the feet part. Looks like the girl he just broke it off with can be bought, which just kind of ruins my sympathy for him and his being in love with her in the first place :P

December 2, 201015 yr Maybe it could be that I don't have an iPod and I can only listen to music when I'm at my laptop, and I haven't had time to listen to it a lot to know if I like it. I'm listening to it now, and I don't hate it, I actually like it. But I'm not .. obsessed about it. Because, I'm a big Coldplay fan, and I thought I wouldn't be after the last album and getting into other bands, and having friends in the Lounge that don't like Coldplay anymore, etc. But I still am, so it didn't affect me at all with listening to a new Coldplay song. So, I don't know D: It sounds Coldplayish.. maybe I'm not used to wait for a Coldplay song and then hear it, or .. I don't know :uhoh: I do like it.. maybe I need time to obsess about it .__. EDIT: It could also be because It's about Christmas.
December 3, 201015 yr I love this song so much. My mom just asked me to play it, so obviously I obliged. I love her so much right now :wacky:
December 3, 201015 yr I wish I could change my rating. After hearing the song only once yesterday, I voted 7, but I've been listening to it non-stop all day and now I would give it a 9. It's a beautiful song and I love Coldplay!
December 3, 201015 yr I´ve been listening and singing to it all day. I liked it, I have to listen to it more :D
December 3, 201015 yr I love it! As with many Coldplay songs, it will take a while for me to determine it's final rating, so just to give it some breathing room I gave it an 8. Great, not their best(very high standards), but one that given time may be in the upper echelon, just not THE best.
December 3, 201015 yr I was sceptical after hearing the preview clip a few days back but when I heard it in full I thought it was really good. I was then on my third listen when I thought it was fucking brilliant!
December 3, 201015 yr i love how there's a secondary conversation about LotR "love interests" in between all the discussion about Christmas Lights! the 2 of you: legends! :laugh3:
