I guess the plus side is I'm using the $90 I would have used for the ACL ticket to get the deluxe version of MX, so there is a reward for not going! :)

I'm trying to paint my son's room, and I'm not getting very far, either...keep stopping to refresh all the emails I used to enter the contests (not multiples for myself, but I'm checking both my husband's rarely-used email and mine).

September 12, 201114 yr So very excited to see that there will be REAL fans in Austin this weekend! I've been really bummed to hear all of the people who are giving ACL a hard time for having Coldplay do another taping....can you believe that? I hope all of those people will be watching Kanye while we are all enjoying a real show. :-) For those of you coming from all over the country....dress comfortably! It will be hot and humid, but we hope our Texas hospitality will more than make up for that. I hope to meet many of you there! Finally bringing my daughter to her first CP show (I always go with dear hubby). She is 10 and I've been a fan since I was prego with her in 2000. She is so very excited to see "Mommy's music" live - how cute is that? See everyone on Friday if not before....anyone else staying in the Domain area?

September 13, 201114 yr Marcus, when do you have to work? I'm almost positive you could find single day passes for Friday if you came down! Unfortunately I have to work ALL DAY Friday, beginning at 6:30am no doubt! :sick: I get every other Friday off but this week just so happens to be my 'working' Friday - typical! I was thinking of just coming up Friday night for it, but by the time I would get there I'd be so far away so just don't feel like it would be worth it. I just decided to use the $90 or so I saved to buy the limited MX album version :thumbsup: Anyway I was kind of hoping I could get tickets to ACL since I can drive up that night and drive home and still go to work. Good thing is I would have an extra ticket if I won! :wink3:
September 13, 201114 yr Congratulations on getting two stage level passes to the Coldplay taping on Thursday, September 15. Austin City Limits tapes at The Moody Theater which is located at 310 W. 2nd Street, Willie Nelson Blvd. Please look for the Coldplay.com winner line signs upstairs, at the last entry gate on the left. There will be several lines so please make sure you are in the right one by asking a volunteer. We will begin handing out passes at 6 pm. Please do not arrive before 6 pm. The patio and bar will be open at that time. Doors to the studio will open at 7:40 and the taping begins promptly at 8 pm The passes will be under your full name. Please present your ID and/or a copy of this email when picking up your passes. This episode of Austin City Limits air on December 31st as PBS' New Year's special.
