it hasn't been a good day in this forum. many people not happy with the new era. crossing my fingers for a reversal with the release of LP5. although it seems we're at the verge of poppy-times.

wait, whats poppy?

referring to the music genre Pop, instead of the usual Coldplay genre: Alternative or Indie rock.

New Song

AGAINST THE WALL

are you saying that against the wall is poppy..Were you there??Just curious..

new songs

So, they played 7 new songs...

We now have four titles from the LP5 era. Assuming that they played all four of these songs (we know they at least played two), then the names of the 7 songs are...

1) ETIAW

2) Up With the Birds

3) Princess of China

4) Against the Wall

5) ???

6) ???

7) ???

we need three more. anybody....? anybody in Nuremburg wanna chime in?

where is the official setlist ?? have they even played new songs ??

THE BUTTERFLIES ARE BACK?!?!?!?! :wacky:

PLEASE TELL ME THE BUTTERFLIES ARE BACK! :bomb::bomb::bomb:

It seems, yes, some german guys twittered that there were some nice pyro actions and also confetti!

In general there were better than expected, "10/10". Seems to be very colorful (the show and the music).

i only just found out that there was a live stream on the internet from rock am ring .. did anyone record it :) ?

Jesus your posts today are enough to make me want to slit my wrists!! :p

Ahahah yeah sorry Ian but today I realized I have say "RIP my dear old coldplay" and as a huge old fan I think u can understand me. :):):) anyway don't worry I'm not slipping mine :):) ahah

ooooooh:rolleyes: ofcourse.:dozey: silly me

Let's not jump to any conclusions right now on how it sounds. These people are probably tired and don't have a great way with words right now.

What we can safely say is that there's:

1) 5-7 new songs

2) The Walking Man was there

3) And possibly a song called "Against The Wall" and "Us V.s. The World".

Sprachlos. Komplett sprachlos. #Coldplay's Festival-Produktion steckt so ziemlich alles Dagewesene in die Tasche.

Another super feedback.

It means that they haven't any words for the Coldplay-Show. The festival-perfomance must be extraordinary and they didn't saw anything else better before!

there might be some German reviews popping up on t'internet soon, could the translators say aye? please and thankyou! :)

This is Rock im Park, tomorrow is Rock am Ring (which will be recorded)

idk but i've always considered Coldplay as Pop/Rock (at least since X&Y). They really have never been Indie since they are with EMI

Jesus your posts today are enough to make me want to slit my wrists!! :p

Killjoys...

Anyway I'm soooooooooooooooooo excited to see what comes from this live performance...
