Technically, pop just means "popular" music, so really Coldplay do sort of come under that genre :rolleyes: I know we have some terrible music out there that is considered "pop" because it's popular with others.. Also, the fact that Coldplay could be tagged as "pop" doesn't mean that his quality is like the rest of the pop artists. Another Twitter-Comment: Chris Martin said that they play some new stoff (5-6 new songs or so) and he found them "awesome". Until now no negative comments!!!!!! It's amazing to see how many people are surprised by this new 'pop touch'. There was a bigger gap between X&Y and VLV than between VLV and ETIAW.
