June 6, 201115 yr - "You can hurt, hurt me bad" - Fade to just acoustic guitar in this section ^ - The "raaaaaaaaaaise" in "but still I'll raise the flag" - Jonny's guitar riff throughout - The return of the drum from VIVA era - Will's awesome drum solo at the end - The change to minor at "Maybe I'm in the gap between the two trapezes" Feel free to add to the list, I've grown to love it whilst being previously uncertain through numerous ipod listens on my way back to the uni library :laugh3:

But it does not make up for everything else that makes this song awful.
June 6, 201115 yr Definitely agree with the guitar riff. It's my favourite part! He sounds fantastic in every new song we've heard so far.
June 6, 201115 yr Jonny is one badass motherfucker, pardon my French. I've always known it. See all Chuck Norris memes, but replace Chuck Norris with Jonny "hero" Buckland.
June 6, 201115 yr Actually, from a drummer's standpoint, Will's bit at the very end is quite rudimentary. Also, I personally find it to be unnecessary. I don't know, it's just that I don't think a drum solo is the best way to end a song, y'know? Having said that, Jonny's guitar part is my favorite and is probably the primary reason why I listen to the song.

June 6, 201115 yr See all Chuck Norris memes, but replace Chuck Norris with Jonny "hero" Buckland. There should definitely be a thread about this.

Following on from what you've said, I have to add that I personally love those 10 seconds of drumming, but it sounds like its itching for a chorus to follow it rather than the song ending.. but I do love it!
June 7, 201115 yr There's now 4 copies of the promo cd on ebay. Does anybody know how many total there are? Is it 100?
