Guest howyousawtheworld
For the BILLIONTH time, xylobrytes was just made up by some guy lying for attention. It's not even a different word for xylophone, it's a freakin' bug. Actually the word xylobrytes was one of the images captured on the screen when Coldplay played Princess of China so it's not some guy lying to get some attention. danmets21
That might just be the agreed split amoungst all material. It's not uncommon. In my band the PRS is split equally (even though I write all the songs) even if the song is played on acoustic guitar and no other members are involved they'll still get the same royalty as me, just because we've all came to that agreement. Each band is different though, you should see Radioheads royalty split lol. Really? Is it bad?
spike
Really? Is it bad? I guess it's fair. It's just each song is different, seems to me like they've sat around and debated "I made up that part" etc because it's down to the last point, which I can understand but seems to defeat the music/creativity group side of things. Each Radiohead song has a different split. Same with U2.
Blue Nails
When new songs are registered with PRS it can take a few weeks for ammendments to be made (i.e Universal to register themselves with the song). PRS gets back-dated so Universal still get their money wither they register today or when the album comes out), I imagine the ammendments will be made soon though. So the registry is for just one song? Or could it be an entire album?

thebouncer12345
Damn sure I am really sure this is the title of the album. Chris has said that it starts with M (two words) and it's hard to spell. Seems like this is it.
JackZ
Whether I agree or disagree with that, people keep saying he said it was hard to spell, and then saying that Mylo Xyloto or M Xylobrytes isnt hard to spell, but he said it was hard to pronounce, theres a difference. Both are hard to pronounce in the sense that you have to read it a couple times to remember what it says.

He needs attention all the time, he needs to be recognized. If I could talk to him face to face I would say: "Please, find a doctor as soon as you can! You have a serious problem"... Piano Evan
I feel like it may just be the intro song spelled out, but if not that's great! People read into the titles too much, that's for sure. It's Coldplay, so I'm going to love whatever they put out, regardless. I can't wait to play the crap out of the album -- Lord knows I'm already listening to LP5 releases way too much. tamunia
Look at Coldplay. No it doesnt kill it. yeah , i know .. they do have team spirit .. but they also have at least agreement for one-era-period ( imho Chris deserves his *bigger* part absolutely) and aren't discussing it after every single song is written .. do u get what i mean?! i guess discussing the topic who worked harder that time and contributed more to one specific song, will create unpleasant environment in a group. or not :\ :) and i am totally pissed by the fact that publishers are getting soo much 50% .. it's a bit off topic .. srry :D:shy:
