Meh - either Chris or another band member said themselves that afterwards they felt X&Y had simply too many songs. So I'm not sure why 13 is considered if that was the general consensus...

yeah definitely, i would be more excited if this was the case!!

I agree with the one who says they should do 10 tracks and 3 hidden tracks, a bit like Viva. After all, the album wasn't long at all. And it had quality.
