October 17, 201114 yr No, it's fucking awful. It's the only Coldplay song I have ever stopped listening to before even finishing once...and it's not because of Rihanna.
October 17, 201114 yr Author No, it's fucking awful. It's the only Coldplay song I have ever stopped listening to before even finishing once...and it's not because of Rihanna. Same. It's the first Coldplay song I ever dislike, and it has nothing to do with her. :/
October 17, 201114 yr I wrote this in another thread, but: I feel bad for the people who don't like any of the new songs... It keeps getting worse for them lol Good news is, for those fans, they appreciate every teardrop more now haha
October 17, 201114 yr I really like it! it's a different Coldplay song, but still great. Rihanna wasn't that bad after all! :)
October 17, 201114 yr The decline of coldplay. Trash. We get that you don't like it. Do you have to post on every thread that it's horrible? At least be constructive and explain why, with depth.
October 17, 201114 yr The reason why it's amazing is because it doesn't try to be amazing. Paradise sounded like it was trying to be amazing. ETIAW sounded like that too. This is so straight-forward and atmospheric. GAHH!! I LOVE IT!
October 17, 201114 yr I like it, but it's more like Rihanna featuring Coldplay... I love the beginning :nice:
October 17, 201114 yr I like it, but it's more like Rihanna featuring Coldplay... I love the beginning :nice: I agree ! I was just saying I wanted a little more Chris in it :\ I still like it tho! :wacky: Coldplay and Rihanna don't sound that bad together :dozey:
October 17, 201114 yr "You stole my star! Lalalalalala lala" :dazzled: The sound of the whole song is amazing, imo :awesome:
October 17, 201114 yr Better worded: It's more like Rihanna and the Coldplays featuring Chris Martin.
October 17, 201114 yr I can't help it, I love it :uhoh: it's not even me being a brainless fangirl, it just seems that everything Christopher Martin comes up with appeals to me. argh  I love the "I could have been a princess" part, I don't even mind Rihanna on it, especially cause her voice sounds good with Chris'. It has a killer beat and tune. Chris clearly learned well from his friends, it's quite a song... :wideeyed:
October 17, 201114 yr The decline of coldplay. Trash. I hate to break it to you, but this decline has been going on for quite some time.
October 17, 201114 yr I hate to break it to you, but this decline has been going on for quite some time. It's not a decline in popularity, just the popularity amongst those who don't like the new stuff. There's a completely different crowd that's going to like this new stuff... and that new crowd coming in is going to be bigger than the old crowd leaving.
October 17, 201114 yr It's not a decline in popularity, just the popularity amongst those who don't like the new stuff. There's a completely different crowd that's going to like this new stuff... and that new crowd coming in is going to be bigger than the old crowd leaving. yup... which is exactly what the band wants. maybe they can add more dance beats like on VLV/Teardrop, or perform with those elephant masks or even do a collab w/ bieber next time, just to tack on a few more new fans
October 17, 201114 yr I can't wait until armpit noises in a microphone becomes a popular musical trend in 10 years and Coldplay decides to abandon all the fans it gained during its synth/autotune/R&B collab phase in favor of gaining a newer and larger fanbase who likes armpit noises in a microphone.
October 17, 201114 yr One again, Coldplay does not use autotune. Please do not make statements unless you are informed.
October 17, 201114 yr I need something in between yes and no. I don't hate it, but I'm sure it won't be my favorite track. It may grow on me with time. Probably doesn't help that I'm not a Rihanna fan.
October 17, 201114 yr No i dont at the moment excually. It sounds too distorted and rhianna's collab is nothing special.
