But really, I started to get back to listening to my "Old Skool Coldplay" and my Coldplay B-sides playlists, and I was re-struck with how brilliant a lot of their harder-to-find work is. I feel like they'd have a better reputation, at least slightly, if people knew their earlier and less-popular work existed. I feel like so many people that spit vitriol about them have only heard like, Fix You and Viva La Vida and the overplayed singles.

^ Car Kids is REALLY hard to find. So it may be the most underrated Coldplay song of all time.

Maybe it´s because they´re main motive is to have popular songs but its not their only motive, so the songs that they thought were too slow or boring when really they were amazing are in the b-sides or aren´t singles.

For some strange and utterly unfathomable reason, hearing For You while looking at the Parachutes cover art always makes me think of an 1840's library, filled with dusty books and low lighting, and an orange globe spinning slowly on the piano.
