I managed to get 117 after a few tries!

I got it once but clicked search again and got it again thank god.

At this point i'll take anything.

that was so messed up. the system of buying concert tickets really needs to change as that was pathetic. I was lucky enough to get section 117 but it seems like no floor seats were sold during this at all. gah I just wish coldplay would see this and be like oh youre all such great fans, heres row one seats reserved for your loyalty!

Weird. Just downloaded the Live Nation iPhone app and did a search for tickets just for fun, and I managed to find 3 tickets for section 101 row 20. If these were sideview tickets, I may have considered it but they’re pretty crappy seats considering they’re $131 a pop.

So quite the disappointing morning...

 

Searched for tickets using the AMEX presale - Found both a row 5 floor, and a row 10 floor - Extremely excited... Until I saw the prices!!! $425 and $275. I'm a little disgusted - I absolutely LOVE this band and seeing them live but I'm so sick of having to spend hundreds of dollars every time I see them just to have a good seat. It's ridiculous. They put on amazing shows, however they are indeed rather short compared to others - I can't see myself spending that much money yet again. I hope there are more good seats available during the general sale for $131 - They didn't seem to be selling any of the really good 100 lvl tickets this time around so maybe there's hope!

 

Anyone else not so happy about this?

Hey Green Eyes - I think those tickets are the VIP package prices. Obviously it sounds like the first 10 rows are reserved for VIP ticket holders. Aside from that though, the rest of the floor seats shouldn't be anymore than $131 each.

Yeah, got a VIP package, 12th row. Nauseous about the price but at least we get some cool merchandise. Still to pay double+ just for that seems mental. Better be some amazing stuff! Oh and as I checked there were free t-shirts that were available which was awesome! Too bad I didn't add one to the order!

Yeup, VIP ones... It actually goes beyond the first 10 rows - The closest we could find here at $131 was row 26... I saw everything up to about row 15 for sure so far going for $275, and anything under 10 for $425.

 

$131 is more than reasonable - I've paid much more.. I just wish they'd give all fans a fair chance at good tickets at this price. I'm sure it's in an effort to curb scalping but I don't see why they don't just sell the best seats through their website like other bands and just require ID at entry - This seems like the best/fairest method to me!

 

Oh well, hopefully there's atleast a few non-VIP tickets in these sections that fans will have a shot at on Saturday!

I did end up buying some not great seats in section 308 just to ensure I have tickets for this show. But I am going to try for better on Saturday.

wow... :( I just realized now that the presale was only for AMEX card holders and that;s why I couldn't buy tickets on my app... I thought I would be able 2 buy tickets on my Live Nation app today and it wpuldn't let me..they told me the presale starts Friday and I KNEW that...

 

I feel so stupid..I knew all of that but I GOT CONFUSED!! See what u do to me Coldplay??? :( I hope I get awesome floor seats or something Saturday :? I'm worried. BTW I was offered Reserved FLOOR seats row 30 - something, but it wouldn't let me buy them (as I don't have an AMEX card) and I was sooo pissed lol..I knew about this presale but got confused :/

Hi y'all. First time posting but got the link when trying to find an image of where exactly row 44 is on the floors. If it's in the 3rd section of floors, I may want to keep the 117 and 110 I got but not sure if those are too far behind the stage. Anyone know where row 44 is or how good 117 and 110 are? There are 3 of us but got single seats ...don't care if we sit alone.

Omg..some of u got floor seats with the VIP package :O IT'S SO EXPENSIVE...I'm buying 2 tickets...How much would that be for a VIP package? Either way mom would never let me spend that much... :(

So just went back on and went to see what was still available. As I said earlier I needed 4 but someone in my household already bought 2, so I couldn't buy any. I decided I should get 2 just incase and got section 320 row 4! These will be unreal seats if I can't get 4 good ones on another sale!

Two VIP packages without the meal is $275 each. Comes to $555.75 after taxes, etc. Make SURE whichever credit card you use is the person who will go to the concert. NON TRANSFERABLE. They don't make that very clear at all.

I got floors without VIP pkg. Row 44. Don't know how good that is. And only when I searched single tickets, best available. Paid $131

That's great that some ppl got seats and not at massive premiums!

 

Hoping Saturday will be a lot easier for everyone to get seats. And prob around 10:30am they will release another show...maybe sooner! With so many dates in between TO and MTL, bound to add an extra show for TO.
