Will Coldplay release new song(s) alongside the release of Charlie Brown Single?

Featured Replies

i dont think they will, not sure why :( but i know we will hear a few new songs, but i think where gonna have to wait a year or so.

Do you mean "we're"? They're still gonnna release it soon but we think it's been delayed to to recent, unexpected success of Paradise in the UK Charts.

That has to suck, working to release a new single and then suddenly an 'old one' speeds up the charts again. :laugh3:

It does seem to have put a slight spanner in the works. Although, I cant imagine them complaining that they got numer one! ;)

But Charlie Brown isn't new, he/she meant new songs

thats what I mean, this thread is about new songs.

CAR KIDS?!!! :D

What is the difference between the Original Album Version and the Special Edition??

Original Album Version is correct.

Special Edition is fake.

ok. got it^^ yeah, it's not officially released by Coldplay.

If that one is official, we should have received some news from Coldplay. The website didn't even include what new songs will be included in that special release.

I hope that they will one day release Wedding Bells, such a fantastic song.

Hmmm, I was always rather indifferent to that song. Its nice but maybe beacuse we only heard a short amount I always thought it rather bland.

Actually we heard full song in two version: piano and guitar.

Until now, we're not sure when is the official release date of Charlie Brown. " beginning of February" is just so vague :dozey::\:thinking:

and, um, well I'm afraid there's a possibility that Princess of China will overshadow it when Coldplay plays it with Rihanna on Grammy's...

Why should we worry about chart positions?

A lot of their singles have been underrated.

They are album artists, and their albums do well.

Let's just look forward to the videos... :smug2:

I think that they will perform Charlie Brown and Princess of China at the Grammys, so hopefully they will put on such a good show with CB (like at the X Factor) that it will get more attention than PoC.

That would be the perfect solution.

Just like the X Factor, instead of promoting Charlie Brown, it propelled Paradise to #1.

Princess Of China is probably gonna do best in America. It's just not time for it yet.
