green/eyes
Yellow. It was on one of the first "Now" CDs.
trey2012
Yellow. It was on one of the first "Now" CDs. You're kidding! I was just about to say that! LOL! I was really into those albums in the beginning. Kind of lost interest now, but I can at least give them credit for introducing me to bands like Creed, Everclear, Smashmouth and of course, Coldplay off the top of my head. istolethekey
The first Coldplay song I've ever heard was Yellow, too. :)
Mollyxyloto
Mum n dad used to listen to yellow. Now here I am, obsessed and proud.:smug:
OmgMati
I'm not sure at all, but I've always thought in Clocks as my first Coldplay song. Because it remains me about long time ago, in 2003 when I was 8. I didn't know who was the band behind it, until 2010 when I realized what I had losing all this time: Coldplay :D
LovelyYellowStars
I'll never forget seeing the video for "Yellow" and just falling completely in love <
viva-la-coldplay
The Scientist - my cousin played it on the piano when I was about 9 or 10. Got really obsessed around 2007 though - and here I am, 5 years later, with a life that consists mostly of Coldplay and very little else :laugh3:

Revolverwin
As far as I remember it was The Scientist., Pretty cool song I thought.. and that was the start of my addiction for Coldplay music....
elemein
Probably something of Parachutes as my mom and dad both were light-listeners of Coldplay. The first song I actually genuinely listened to all on my own was White Shadows. That started my addiction; it's also my favourite song.
Troxley
I think it was Clocks. But the first that I ever listened to was probably Viva La Vida or Life In Technicolor II.

twin4life
In My Place. I actually think it was december 2002. Very clearly remember watching on tv, and immediately after I found my brother and made him download the whole album for me. I was 12 years old and no one my age had any idea who Coldplay were. I also think that Coldplay were on Letterman the first night I ever heard them and I stayed up late to watch them. I'm gonna take a guess and say it was december 12th...wait! Google says dec 16th. Damn. I was pretty close. :)
