In My Place on MTV back in 2003. It just grabbed my attention. And the awesome music video with it.

YEAAAAH, HOW LONG MUST YOU PAY FOR ITTTT.

Yellow... I couldnt get over how high Chris' voice went.. my first thoughts were.. not sure if I liked it.. but after hearing it played sooo many times on the radio.. I loved it

Trouble at top of the pops. I was a teenager and still into other (bad popgroup) music but it did grab my attention and I dont know how but it somehow stuck with me. Even the presenter who said this band is going to be great or something like that. I dont remember any other performances from artists that i wasnt in to.. quite interesting..

It took 5 years before I really started listening to coldplay.

Btw. Ive been trying to find this performance. Does anyone have it?

Yellow. I couldn't stand it, or the band for that matter. Look at me now, refusing to go to a concert because I want my first concert to be a Coldplay one. Oh how foolish I was.

speed of sound. i had a friend which her brother is a big fans of coldplay. her brother was playing the x&y cd when i came to her house. that's when i heard speed of sound for the first time.

The scientist

Don't remember exactly but the first time I heard them was somewhere around the AROBTH/X & Y era with Clocks, Speed of Sound, Talk and Fix You being my go to songs.

Consciously being aware that it was Coldplay - The Scientist

Simply knowing the song- Yellow

must've been clocks.

consciously: in my place.

The first one I remember hearing was Viva, and I was hooked. I remember the only reason I got good at Tap Tap was so I could play it on the CP Tap Tap app because it was only available on hard/expert mode :laugh3:

I heard a song on the radio when I was about 11 whilst I was in the car on the way to school. I instantly loved it, but didn't catch the name of it or the artist. The next time I heard it was when the girl I fell in love with sent me the music video to it and asked if I liked Coldplay.

Fix You has always been so special to me since.
