OK, so eventually I watched it last night, and what you noticed is pretty much what I've noticed too :lol: I will just add something: That version of Speed of sound made me love the song again. I already saw the video of SS of that gig, and that had changed my mind about the song. I used to skip it whenever it appeared on my mp3, now I almost never do that anymore :D (but only with this version, I love the crowd singing a part of the chorus, and the way Chris sings it is, imo, how they should have recorded it for the album). The crowd is indeed impressive! Even on What If! I have that version on my mp3 and it's beautiful :wacky: Anyway, another AWESOME gig. I had this amazing feeling after watching Glastonbury 2005, like, peaceful and happy, and I had that exact same feeling after watching this gig :awesome:

These are my points: - First of all X&Y is my favorite album so I really love this gig, I watched it before and I always love to re-watch it. - Love to the black X&Y's look ♥ - An love to Jonny and Will's voices too! - Every time I see them I think Yellow's balloons are great and lovely. And I loved when in the end, singing "...all the things you do", Chris point at Jonny - I found funny Chris playing with Yellow's balloons during Speed of Sound - A very cute moment is when Jonny has to sing Don't Panic and Will smile for support him - I really really really loved all Chris' jumps :laugh3: - And I also loved holes under his armpit :laugh3::laugh3::laugh3: - During White Shadows I liked the way Chris was singing near the screen and the end, when he lied with Jonny, they was sooooo sweet, expecially Jonny looking at Chris and Chris singing "C'mon love stay with me..." - I liked very much the background video of The Scientist and the end of Fix You with all four the guys on the screen singing - I loved cameras thing - Love also to the apologies for the mistakes, Will's keybord full of scotch, Chris' bridge on the piano stool, the X&Y's code all around the arena, the dark in which Chris sang Talk and the serenade to the cellphone, Chris behind Jonny's back during In My Place, Fix You's lantern, Jonny waiting for Chris at the end and Chris putting the flag on Jonny... ...and I think it's all :laugh3: The only one thing I disliked? The end of In My Place without Jonny :P

Geez, I got emotional just watching "Fix You" on here. God help me when I go see the band in August, I'm liable to be a total wreck then when they do that song. My friends are going to wonder what the hell's wrong with me :laugh3:. 3. "Ring Of Fire"? AMAZING (and hot, I gotta say) :D. That was so great, I loved that. February 29, 201214 yr Oh why don't you like SoS? :\ I agree for the feelings after gigs :D Well SoS & I have a complicated story that goes way back :lol: I've known this song for a long time, actually it's one of the first Coldplay songs I've known (I mean knowing that it's from the band Coldplay) and I used to have only the studio version in my mp3, and I have to admit that I eventually got bored by it. I didn't feel it, you know ? But then a few months/weeks ago (I don't know, time goes so fast here :rolleyes: ), I saw the video of SoS, from that gig, on Youtube (but not the entire gig, just this song), and I was like: "Wow! It's beautiful :wacky:" Idk, for some reason, this version felt more...uplifting, and I prefer how he sings it in that live version than on record, just details, but to me these specific details make a huge difference for some unknown reason :lol: So, now, I really enjoy SoS, especially when I listen to the version from that gig :D

But I don't want people to feel left out and feel like they missed their chance to comment, either. 1. YES ♥ 2. I don't know why but I'm always to cry when I watch The Scientist live, when I heard Fix You from my iPog it makes me feel so low but the live version gives me strength. :D I just kept wanting to run my fingers through those curls. "The Scientist" can definitely be a moment, too, yeah. I agree, live "Fix You" does seem to be more uplifting than sad. But it still gets to me anyway. Especially when the entire crowd is singing along at the end-I don't know why. ALL what you said :) :) I agree with your list as well, some of the little looks and smiles you noted I didn't even catch, so I'll have to go back and look for that stuff. I like the bit about Chris jumping about, yeah, he was a hyper little thing on that stage, wasn't he? I like "Speed Of Sound". Some days I'm more in the mood for it than others, but I like it. And I agree it does take on a whole new life live. I think "Talk" is a fantastic song, in all its versions. I've always loved that one from X&Y in particular. The guitar, the lyrics...it's just good stuff.
