Oooo, it sounds quite lovely. The strings are gorgeous! And the "lie to me" part is haunting... just hoping that in the studio version the bass drum part doesn't drown out all the other beautiful things going on in this song. I think this will be a favorite among coldplayers.

I think it would sound better without the bombastic beat, I don't know. Chris's vocals are awesome and the lyrics are great but that beat makes it sound too much like a OneRepublic song :thinking:

 

edit: Although, it's not nearly as bad as it could've been. If it was anything like the beat on the remix he did of Apologize I'd be extremely upset.
